The SCAFFOLD water-soluble PVA Wire and POLY PLUS PLA

You can find here my test with a water-soluble PVA Wire the SCAFFOLD and POLY PLUS PLA in dual material mode.
After many tests and help with the community, i found this parameters to print the SCAFFOLD with 0.3mm nozzle and the cura 2.7 in 0.2mm per layer. I 'm using a special head "Dual_Balance" but you can also use this paramters with you dual printer with 0.3mm of nozzle. You can find below the picture with all the cura 2.7 parameters for the SCAFFOLD.

The only problem that has occurred is a layer that is detached from the tower caused by my setting on CURA to clean the nozzles. so to avoid!

Ultimaker3(E) Fan Bracket Clip

My fan bracket cover got bent a while back. I had been using rubber bands to hold it in place, but with heating, they would not last. So, having seen several threads of fan covers not staying in place or magnets losing their oomph or whatever, I decided to make this. As you can see, it is on my UM3E and holds quite nicely. The two variations are just one is a slight bit thinner in the back and not as blocky there. The front is blocky to increase the strength of those tiny clasps.
Print it out in filament that can have a bit of flex and take a bit of heat. I will probably have to print in another material when I return to high heat materials such as PC.

British Bully split test

Another bully sculpt, now I have American, British and French... was experimenting with zero retractions speed increases and the placements of the slice and how well they stuck together after. Doing a tutorial for the glueing, acetoning, filler and finishing for this. part one is done.

Custom mount for IKEA Östanå

4 bowden support

Here you can see my last design to maintain 4 bowden and the new connector for the sensor and the heater for ultimaker 2+.
I designed this 4 bowden support for the Dual_balance system who works in dual mode but you can also use it in simple mode.
The idea is to soldering together two Double Row Male Breakable Pin Header Connector Strip:
Brand Name: SHWB Model Number: 2.54 Pin Header
This Pin header Connector is not very expensive and useful with many standard 2.54 mm male connector (or Male and female). You can find below a exemple.

3D Print a 1:100 scale concept model for a house, the dominant repeated ribs and front loft space accessed by a spiral stair recall timber framed ships.
Printed on the Ultimaker 3 we used the standard medium print settings for most of the model, with the high settings required for some of the highly intricate pieces like the screens.

iPhone X Dock

Why another phone dock?
The new iPhone X is a few mm taller than the previous phones, so my old printed iPhone dock didn't work anymore. After some browsing I could not find any other dock I liked. The one I liked that doesn't fit does not exist for the X and I dislike mods on STLs/OBJs. The generic ones are typically clumsy or have other issues.
So I decided to design one quickly from scratch. Here's the result I would like to share.
I think there are not enough phone docks out there yet! :-)

Voilier de class "Footy"

Projet perso : un voilier de class "Footy" d'après un plan de Claudio Vigada (Italie) à l'origine conçu pour être réalisé en depron.
La coque a été entièrement dessinée sous 123D Design (RIP).
Elle est entièrement creuse : les parois font 0.62 mm.
Elle est en deux parties assemblées à l'epoxy au niveau du puits de dérive.
La dérive est démontable. Elle embarque un lest en plomb de 310 gr caché dans deux demi coquilles imprimées elles aussi.
La platine radio est en deux parties : les servos sont maintenus en place par emboitement.
Seules les têtes de servos dépassent.
La trappe sera fermée et maintenue en place par un morceau d'adhésif afin d'assurer l'étanchéité de l'ensemble.
Le filament utilisé est du PETG/Carbone de chez Nanovia.

L'impression est réalisée avec une buse Olsson Ruby de 0.4.
L'imprimante est une UM2 modifiée Olsson équipé du ZGE (Zero Gravity Extruder) de @gudo et @neotko

Another Thing

Kmanstudios mentioned one of my last prints reminded him of the head from the 'The Thing' with the tentacles so as a result of not getting it out of my head I did a quick sculpt and ended up with this, have no idea why the two sides didn't join up correctly, but I admit i didn't pay attention to the settings when i did it and may have got the scale wrong when printing it as well. I guess I need to pay more attention when cutting up objects, but its good practice for joining two parts in a way to avoid seeing the seam!
