Ultimaker 2 Filament Guide V2
By UbuntuBirdy
A filament guide which can adapt itself to different diameters and widths of the spool.
Improvements to the first version:
- The version 2 (the white parts on the pictures) can now catch and release the filament without pulling it back.
- Thanks to a snap connection between the holder and the sphere no glue is required anymore.

Goat Horns
By lekid
Last special order. 3d sculpting and 3d printing of goat horns in polypropylene. I chose this material because it's robust and lightweight. With only a 1.8mm shell, I have a weight of about 60gr for a single horn. A led system will illuminate the symbols.
Print settings :
Printer -> UM2 + Bloc Olsson + Bondtech
Nozzle -> 0.6mm
Material -> Centaur PP (polypropylene)
Layerheight -> 200µm
Shell -> 3 (1.8mm) + Top/Bottom 9 lignes (1.8mm)
Infill -> 0%
Temperature -> Nozzle 235° / Bed 30°
Fan Speed -> 100%
Speed -> 40mm/s and the 1st layer at 30mm/s
Adhesion -> scotch
Slicer -> Cura 3.6
Supports -> 45° with 15% of density. I also activate the Support Interface
I also did a Timelapse of the Sculpting done with ZBrush -> https://youtu.be/dFdMDAD5Z4g

Project X Alien Mystery Box
By Kurt Plagge
Only a specific sequence of steps will allow access to its secret compartment. Check out the YouTube video to see it in action. Made up of 36 separate pieces, it all snaps together to complete the finished product.
Because of the number of parts and the complicated assembly, I created a few aids to help out. I've included a parts list and a part identification guide, plus created a special YouTube video detailing the assembly process. Printing all of the pieces requires about 150 hours of printing and lots of PVA support material. I suggest watching all or part of the assembly video prior to starting to print to make sure you really want to take this on.
In the parts list, I included the brand, type and color of the filaments I used. Of course, you can use anything you want to print it, but I would suggest using the same material types that I used (Nylon, PLA, ABS, TPU) to maintain the same part interactions and flexibility.

Adjustable iPad Air Stand
By Andrey1
This is iPad Air stand. You can change the incline of the tablet by pushing the button up and pulling your iPad up or down.
Printed with PLA.
There are 5 main parts of the stand:
Main body consists of two parts, which have juts and holes to ease assembling. Cilinder with groove to insert iPad. Button with lever (consists of two parts to ease printing) Tooth Spring (i took it from ordinary ballpoint pen)
Parts of main body and of the button are glue together with dichloroethane (as i used PLA). Before gluing you should insert button with lever, tooth, spring and cylinder into one part of the main body. Then smear it with dichloroethane and connect with the second part of the main body.236 downloads

some informations about the print :
Printer : UM2 + Olsson Block + Bondtech Feeder
Nozzle : 0.6mm
LayerHeight : 200µm
Wall : 3 (1.8mm)
Top/Bottom : 6 layers (1.2mm)
Infill : 15%
Temp : Nozzle -> 200° / Bed -> 60°
Speed : 55mm/s (1st layer at 35mm/s)
Printed with the tip in the air
Supports : 50° / 15% in density
Total printing : almost 1h
Concerning the sanding process, I started with a grain at 180 and then after 400 to finish at 600 (personally I do not go down in grain it's already quite smooth in 600 :)
I also made a Time Lapse of the sculpting

Filament holder for the UM3 spools
By MJK
My special designed filament holder are directly for the original ULTIMAKER 3 (UM3) spools.
Until now I use it for the 350g and 750g spools of 2.85mm filament (see pictures).
Advantages:
Easy to clamp or unloose in the spool Best way of storing the filament spools Spools are better stackable No unraveling of the filament End of filament doesn't have to be fixed in the small hole and the danger of breaking filament I'm looking forward to your feedback and especially if it works as well for the other material spools.
Have fun.

Dolphin
By marco3D
I designed and printed a dolphin jumping out of the sea. The dolphin was printed with Bronzefill. The base was printed using NGEN clear for the outer walls and blue PLA for the infill, thus creating a nice blueish sea.
