About This File

The original dodecahedral kinetic sculpture by Stijn van der Linden a.k.a. Virtox.

Made of five nested dodecahedra, each one is limited to rotate around its own axis.

It was printed with dual extrusion on an Ultimaker 3 with water-soluble PVA support material.

Printing the gyro is the first and only time my 4 day old UM3E print core 2 seem to work. Very impressive. Took 67hours to print but it is very fascinating.

(I hope to enjoy my new printer more instead of pulling hairs trying to guess what's wrong with the print again and again.)

I hope I can download the Gyro in the future; right now it does show to be available.

Cheers, Whitenuckle

The offer to download 'Gyro the Dodo by Virtox 1.0' was only a fake. There is nothing for download!
