    This is a suggestion to develop a new type of support that gows from the side of the printed part instead of the print bed. This could reduce material used for support and reduce print time. I have done two tests to compare, the design can be improved and i am sure a slincing algorythm can be added maybe in "Cura" to have Ramification support. I added Pictures and the models of two comparative parts. Let me know what you think and if you can develop the algorythm. This is totally open source suggestion i claim no right for. I only would like it to be named "Ramificaitons". (STL need to be rotated 90 degrees)

    The original dodecahedral kinetic sculpture by Stijn van der Linden a.k.a. Virtox. Made of five nested dodecahedra, each one is limited to rotate around its own axis. It was printed with dual extrusion on an Ultimaker 3 with water-soluble PVA support material.

    During my spell working in the Art department on 'Avengers Age of Ultron' I was asked by the production designer to build a prop to help dress the interior set of 'Stark Towers' The model was to show the new section of tower that replaced the damaged section from the original film. As I only had 4 weeks to build it (including 3d modelling) we needed to simplify the design a bit, hence the lower portion being in laser cut acrylic. Using my trusty Ultimakers I think I pulled off the desired effect, even if it only appeared in the movie for less than a second!

    To improve the CNC Router and not just to drill stuff, I also wanted to cut materials like cardboard, vinyl, paper, etc. Before to buy a lasercut, I did find in Internet a very interesting tool to transform the Spindle into a cutting machine. I wanted to buy the knife tool, but my spindle collet is 8mm, and most of the tools I saw doesn´t fit on it, so I decide to make my own, and after some failed prototypes and test, I made one that until now, after several test it works just great!. The blade can be coupled in two different positions, with a cut depth of 6mm or 10mm. Component list: - 2x bearings with 8mm inner diameter - 1x 8mm x 50mm rod - 2x collar - 9x M3 30mm screws with nuts and washers - 2x M3 16mm screws with nuts and washers - Blades I spend like 30€ on components, but that´s because I bought more than I needed, just to have spare parts, and the 3D printed parts, cost like 2€ with a 2,2kg Colorfabb XT Spoon.

    Last special order. 3d sculpting and 3d printing of goat horns in polypropylene. I chose this material because it's robust and lightweight. With only a 1.8mm shell, I have a weight of about 60gr for a single horn. A led system will illuminate the symbols.     Why another phone dock? The new iPhone X is a few mm taller than the previous phones, so my old printed iPhone dock didn't work anymore. After some browsing I could not find any other dock I liked. The one I liked that doesn't fit does not exist for the X and I dislike mods on STLs/OBJs. The generic ones are typically clumsy or have other issues. So I decided to design one quickly from scratch. Here's the result I would like to share. I think there are not enough phone docks out there yet! :-)

    A test sculpt of my friends dog.... still trying to get my UM2 back to spec. Didnt realise the 35W heater needed a PID alteration or something, but hopefully I'll have that sorted and will be back to making near flawless prints. No closeups here because they are not worthy of closeups.

    Mount a Raspberry Pi camera+wide angle lens+ LED lights inside your printer. I made this design to solve/address the following: 1. Clean looking mount for RasPi camera and lights inside frame. 2. Increase viewing angle of camera. 3. Light the print bed for camera. I like Octoprint for viewing my prints AND taking time-lapse movies of print jobs. I did not want a camera hanging off outside of the printer, I wanted it to be inside the frame if possible. I also wanted to have light since sometimes the room is dark. I wanted as little hacking to the printer as possible (just a few drill holes in the frame). SO this is what I made. When the camera is inside the frame it needs the help of a wide angle lens to see the whole print bed. I also decided to power the LEDs from the Pi to reduce the power supplies I would need. There are a bunch of photos to show my process. I will try to add better instructions later.

    This is a well known vase printed in Blue Lagoon from Faberdashery (very nice). It's printed with my Ultimaker 2 modified with the Olsson Block and a 1mm nozzle from www.3dSolex.com. Printed in Spiralize mode with a 1mm wall, and 0.5mm layers! It's very fast, around 1h25 to print at full height (200mm). Watch the video! I'll do a complete review soon on this nozzle

    Here's a project that I've been working on for some years now with my good friend Darren. Our goal is to make the most accurate plans of the Eagle Transporter from the series Space 1999 from Gerry Anderson ( also creator of Thunderbirds ) This will be the studio scale version, and when ready it will be 44" or 111.76 cm
