  2. I tried the Matchless 2mm block+nozzle, you have to print pretty slow to use it, since otherwise the plastic will not be melted enough (about 40mm3/s did not work out too well for me, the surfaces got all rough and ugly :/) I belive the main problem was in the melt zone length rather than in the feeder or heater. To me that 2mm nozzle is mostly a novelty, and i do still not think that i will be using anything over 1mm in practice. I have a hard time seeing that table above are being correct btw, i have been printing 20+mm3/sec a lot of times with UM2+ printers with regular Olsson blocks (0.8m

  3. Your top/bottom thickness isn't a multiple of your layer thickness. It will only make the layer thickness one layer. But that's not your problem I think. or is it? Is this the top layer in the region of the hole? Maybe it's not supported very well with infill? Although it doesn't look underextruded. Your overlap is also too high at 50%. It's so much overlap it's completely covering the inner shell and it makes it look like you only have one shell pass when you actually have 2 passes. The problem as I assume you know is that your outer shell and your inner shell are not touching on the

  4. Just a silly idea that I got today. I think it could be nice to have icons on the Latest Topics view, this way when you are checking the new posts you instantly recognize the topics that interest you. The icons on the general view it's just to homogenize the use, but they ain't needed much there. Cheers!

  5. You might have caught the news on our blog about the new Ultimaker Education resources that launched on our site and the first 58 Pioneer Program educators. Well, we aren't just launching these resources and that's the end of it. Instead, Ultimaker and all of the Pioneer Program participants who have joined this effort are looking for a living conversation with educators everywhere. So we are looking to the Ultimaker Education Forums as an excellent place for all of us in the desktop 3D printing community to add to this discussion!
