    - Thank you! Yes, I will definately try 0.4 mm nozzle with your settings and compare diffeerence in prints. Best Regards!

I'm sorry that my original reply somehow disappeared. The short pulleys that go vertically were the ones that were slipping. Once I cranked on those pulley screws, X and Y moved correctly. I finally managed to print a little Ultimaker robot!!!

Juste 30 heures... (40 si je n'avais pas oublié un détail... pas assez de filament...)

In films they use very fragile "glass" which scatter without causing wounds. You can hit someone on the head with a bottle of this "glass", shattering it to pieces, without killing him (as we have seen often enough in films). I don't know for sure how this is made, but if I remember well, I once read it is moulded from some sugar-like stuff? So, maybe you could use that, Make a mould, maybe with 3D-printing, and then cast such materials in it?

I've been struggling with my modded UMO+ and the feeder this week, and I checked all the alternatives I have to the UM2 feeder I have installed in my UMO+. As @neotko suggested, @bondtech will the 2.85mm double gears be available as spare parts in the future? I'd really want to get them and mod them with the parts available to keep the feeder as small as possible but with a high grip!

I think, the printer divides total print time from cura by total number of layers. Then it extrapolates from the number of layers it already printed to the layers still to print. As the first layers are usually printed slower, it expects extra time for the rest of the time. At least this is my guess It would explain, why in the beginning for me it always shows too long print times. I think the whole print time estimation is quite rudimentary and I usually take it only as an rough estimate. Maybe they improved it with Cura 2.3?

Just set the flow to like 50%, you will get a sponge like texture that is rather fragile and trippy looking.

Fun with Polygons I discover right off the bat that Cura doesn't support concave polygons. Bummer. So the poly count went up from 4 to 60! I would call that a success You can literally throw the cartridge into the holder. Anyway, it will be picked up reliably.

Hi, I know that Ultimaker hosts a recurring event the "Ulti-evening" (link). But how about a big Ultimaker convention? I'd really like to meet some of you, shake hands with the Ultimaker team and just be around like minded people. How about a poll? If enough people vote for it, maybe the conference will climb up on Ultimaker's priority list
