Post processing script for Octoprint's @pause feature None of the existing pause at height scripts use the @pause feature for Octoprint to handle the pause and resume so I made a new script based off of the existing 'Pause at height' script to do that. You can give it a height in mm or layer number to pause after printing the layer specified. It does not add any commands like M or G for example. It only inserts an @pause into the gcode just before the layer height or layer number which tells Octoprint to handle the pause using Octoprint's 'PAUSE and RESUME scripts. By default O

  2. Hello there, my name is Carsten and I use a an Ultimaker 2+ extended now for about one and a half years in Darmstadt, Germany. As I work for a pet-cremation company I print Urns in different sizes from 0.1 liter to 2 liter volumes. The material is extrudr Green-Tec Filament so the urns can be burried in the ground and then vanish. Urn and lids: See you!

  3. Hey guys, way more pics to follow, but here is the beggining of a WIP job based on my favourite front cover of a book ever 'Forest of Doom'. I thought I'd show you the techniques I used to print this really 3d printer unfriendly model and the small but important things you need to do it. I decided not to use PVA due to the reason that i dont need bottom details and can therefore sand it out easily, also print time is drastically less and no wait time is needed to see that actual model, so the time spent waiting for the PVA to melt is spent finishing the model which you would have t

  4. Hi all, to my opinion there is a mistake in the manual levelling routine, which only appears, when someone levels manually the UM3 and has to read the description in german. During the second levelling round, leveling the first point , one is supposed to ajust the hight with the (back) screw under the buildplate. - To read the whole text in german one has to scroll with the scrollwheel. (the english text is shorter, so it doesn become obvious there ) - the printbed hight is (in this step only) sensitive to the scrollwheel! - That means , if a user reads what to do, he changes the hi
