  1. Smithy, print finished at 14:40, and it cooled down until 18:00, so certainly cold. Tough pla .15mm, support from extruder1, 10% infill. SUPRISE (for me anyway) It was very hard to remove, i had to force my heavy scraper under the corner and had to apply a lot force. First time i encounter this on my UM5 with tough play. If i had to save the part, i would try with water first. (this is my favorite for critical parts that stick to well) So, seems that the form also has influence? And if so, i would expect it to be because the support is very large in the x and y, but very l

  3. I print TPLA with hairspray, print is loose after cooling

  4. Guess how my day was.... Have gutted my print head. Constant blocked print cores was driving me nuts. Could print only a few minutes then extrusion stopped. Couldn't move material manually either. Cold and hot pull and it was fine, for a minute or two. Found that end of filament swelled causing the stops. The front fan has stopped working. Its not seized but won't run, not even with an external 5V power source. Waiting for a replacement fan now, none in stock of course.

  5. Well the fabric has taken a different path what i had planned failed due to other colours and the fabric being too thick. but in the meantime the S5 and dry ice, lol. why not, i just had some left over from a film shoot.

  7. Paul, your friend did save the STL wrong in his 3D program. There is a selection to choose from : millimetres, centimeters & meters. He has to choose millimetres for the export to STL.
