  1. Hey, great idea! Hallo, grossartige Idee! There s no way to niggle the whole time! Time to show some positiv stuff! The Picture shows a little park bench for H0 1:87. It was created with Lightwave, sliced with cura and printet with an UMO+.

  2. Did that for a long time until the heat caused the rubber band to degenerate very quickly. That is when I made my UM3 bracket. BUT! It does work until you get the thing printed. If your luck is like mine, it would pop open whilst printing the bracket and cause more issues.

Andy.

  4. I am not 100% sure, but I guess the global settings are from the original profile and the Extruder 1 setting from your modifications. When you create a new profile, you have an original profile as the base, then you modify some settings and save it as a new profile. But in your case, the layer height should be 0.15, because Extruder 1 settings override the global ones. When you struggle with stringing, try to print cooler and check your retraction settings.

  5. I just got a false material out print pause (S5). Loaded materials were White PLA and Ulitmaker PVA. I'd be betting the PVA was the problem; the only other time I've got this was printing transparent CPE. So that fix isn't all the way there yet. Mmmmm .... I'm gonna reserve judgement. Let me get back to you. The white was actually feeding very poorly in this case (hard to tell why), it might have been legit.

  7. This was a work project that I decided to print myself. It's a really great model!! The original was going to be investment cast for a Bentley owners club hood ornament in the USA. Printed at 0.1 in innofil white pla pro1 with ultimaker PVA support. Build time was just short of 2 days.

  8. I just use soap and water about once per month. 1) Make sure the glass is clean if you haven't cleaned it for a few weeks. You want a very thin coat of PVA glue which is found in hairspray, glue stick, wood glue. If you use glue stick or wood glue you need to dilute it with water - about 5 to 10 parts water to 1 part glue. So for example if you use glue stick, apply only to the outer edge of your model outline then add a tablespoon of water and spread with a tissue such that you thin it so much you can't see it anymore. wood glue is better. hairspray doesn't need to be diluted.
