2 pointsYou could try rotating it 90 degrees.The problem is that printers aren't simultaneous 3d so the Z will always be in small steps because they can't move all three axis at the same time. I work with cnc's and printer is what we refer to at 21/2D.
1 pointYou can't. They don't have enough room to store the entire xml file. They just hold an identifier (the GUID) that links them with an xml profile.
1 pointCuraEngine doesn't have default values (or well; it gets them from the fdmprinter.def.json). So in order for this to work, it needs to know where to find the file.
