  1. With my last subtmission this is the 50th plugin avalaible in the market place . This is an opportunity for me to sincerely thank @Ultimaker for the service provided even to non-customers. I would also like to thank especially @nallath and @ahoeben for the help brought on these developments and for the bases of several of these plugins which allowed me to concretize some of my ideas.   2. The "bug" comes from your settings. With a normal configuration there is no problem to use these file as a Custom support.

It worked im up and back in business..Thanks everyone I would just like to add the process is very simply u simply need a micro SD card place it in the reader, download the correct firmware and prepare your SD card for flashing. This requires you to download win32diskmanger and just select your file, select the correct drive to write too. And press write. Windows will prompt you to format drive AFTERWARDS. YOU JUST IGNORE THIS. Take flashed card and place in S5, where it meant to go The important thing is, the card itself is formatted correctly for you by the win32diskmanager

  4. Thank you for your help, you appear to be right, reading the link you sent I can see my model is in the dark area of the bed. I have encountered this before using Prusa Slicer and simply increased the bed size in the machine settings. I have done this in Cura but now I can see that the print area does not increase, only the outer area around the print area. My print bed is 220 x 220 and my model is 220.2 x 219 so I will have to go back to the drawing board and try to reduce the size a little. Once again, thank very much. Graham.

  5. I am using the latest Cura version and am seeing an issue where a z-hop doesn't always happen when moving over a printed part. I have both options enabled: "Z-hop when retracted" and "Z-hop only over printed parts". It also does do a retraction, which even more confuses me why it's not doing a z-hop as well.

  6. I often use Z-hop if a print has a largish horizontal hole or arch that may want to curl up during printing. If the curl catches on the nozzle it can push the print. My preference for those types of parts is 0.5 to 1.0 of Z-hop. I know it's a question of semantics, but reading it carefully "Z-Hop only over printed parts" limits Z-hops within a particular part. It isn't the same as Combing mode. And as gr5 says, there are numerous other settings that have an effect on Retraction and subsequent Z-Hops. It isn't an easy setting to understand (but what in 3D printing is?).

  8. Hallo, ich habe die oben erwähnte max. Kammentfernung auf 10mm eingestellt (auch wenn meine Haare derzeit kürzer sind 😝....nur um lästigen Fragen vorzubeugen: der Frisseur in diesem Fall war ich selbst 😎). Habe nun übers Wochenende einiges gedruckt und die "Fäden" quer durchs Bauteil sind weg; zudem wurde die UnterExtrusion beim anschließenden "Weiterdrucken" erfolgreich bekämpft 🦾 Die Party/Feier hatte ca. 30min mehr an Druckzeit zur Folge (z.B. 4h 8min statt 3h 39min), aber damit kann ich leben.   9. For others - Ha ha This was a test piece. Whatever you do, do not make a saucepan handle out of PLA. It won't even last 5 mins. On the upside, it's easy to scrape off your cooker top when it solidifies again. 😂😂

  10. Liegt daran dass die Noozle nicht in der Mitte des Druckkopfs ist. Wenn du den Kopf bis ganz an die rechte Seite ziehst, siehst du das es physisch nicht möglich ist das ganze Druckbett zu nutzen. UM2 2go hat hat ein kleineres Druckbett im Gegensatz zum Gehäuse, deshalb klappt es da.

  11. Why do you use the script for BQ printers (your screenshots)? M25 stops the print on Ultimaker printers. The default method should be "Marlin (M0)" - which is the correct choice for UM2.

  13. Hallo, habe am Freitag OcotPrint auf einem Pi installiert. Habe mich dafür entscheiden, weil es der schnellste Weg für einen Druck über USB war. Funzt prima! Werde noch ein bißchen mit der Startsequenz rum spielen, da ich gerne ein kleines Häufchen am Anfang hätte. Danke an alle für die Hinweise. Viele Grüße Matthias

  14. So far i started the first print and i did not get a nozzle offset error, this is a huge positive. Plus i think the print quality has actually improved. I am impressed 🙂 and happy EDIT:- Started second print, there was a nozzle difference error but the update is definately better than the previous

  15. gr5 is the bed adhesion master, but yes, it can be that you are too tight with your piece of paper. I use parchment paper as it is only .04mm thick and nothing sticks to it. When I feel the nozzle "scratch" on the paper, it's just about right. There are a couple of ways to cheat until you get the feel for it. One is setting the Initial Layer Height to .28 or .30. That pretty much insures there will be a gap even if you are tight on the paper. Remember, you don't need to print a whole model. If it starts out bad just abort and try again.   16. https://imgur.com/cYihrQY Is there a setting in Cura that lets you print these lines consecutively and not split up when there is a hole in the body? The sheen is not uniform when its split up like this. If not can someone who is very smart create one? I heard Prusa has this feature coming out soon.

Wenn man darüber nachdenkt, kann man sagen, dass es vier Gründe für eine Unterextrusion geben kann. 1) Heizblockkoppler mit einer Verengung, die das Aussterben begrenzt. 2) Feeder-Problem. 3) Düsenblockierung. 4) Heizblock, der Kühlprobleme aufwirft. Dies sind die bekanntesten Probleme, aber es gibt auch Kombinationen davon. Es ist auch möglich, dass der kleine Lüfter auf der Rückseite Probleme hat, wenn es heiß wird. Dies kann mit der Tatsache zusammenhängen, dass der Extruderkopf während der Bewegung, bei der der Anker aufgrund eines verschlissenen Lager

  19. Is Ultimaker planning to release a scaled down version of the Air Manager for the S3 printer? Or even a smaller material station? I would think you could get 4 spools into the smaller S3 footprint.

  20. Hi and welcome in the community, You can change infill percentage, but in your case you have the infill line distance parameter that is overriding this value so you need to change this value in order to change the infill
