  1. Another new day, and another new round of spam https://www.youmagine.com/designs/971562588250-independent-indian-escorts-in-dubai-pakistani-call-girls-in-dubai-58-32 https://www.youmagine.com/designs/payday-advance-loans-michigan
  2. The problem is that the spammers created hundreds or more accounts, and start spamming after a while, if the admins don't delete the accounts made around one period, with zero posts and from the same country, then this will go on for months.
  3. Up next...Skype spam Seriously, you better delete all the new members from last month, otherwise this is going to go on for months and will turn to pron !
  4. Aaaaand stil going you better shut it down unless you want pron spam next
  5. Did anybody notice that Youmagine is completely covered in spam ?

    Failed Print

It looks like the z-platform doesn't lower correctly at those times causing under extrusion. Is the height where these happen the same in all prints ? you could clean the leadscrew and reapply some grease
  7. It says it has a 0.5mm resolution, this is not really fine, but it depends what you want to scan. For me 0.1mm is the absolute minimum resolutions to get nice detailed scans, more is better, but the file size also grows
  8. To get the best results with transparent resins you need to use Platinum based silicone molds (more expensive) Tin base rubbers (most common) reacts with the resin to create a tacky surface. as far as I know only epoxy clear resin has no problems with tin based rubbers. http://hapcoweb.com/wordpress/why-silicone-molds-can-inhibit-the-cure-of-clear-resins/
  9. You can use Meshmixer (free) and the option "plane cut" from 0:40
  10. I know MacOS does support a preview of an STL file natively, just like an image press the spacebar to see the model and you can zoom and rotate.
  11. I am really curios about close-ups of the UM3 print quality, especially if there has been improvements getting rid of ringing, without have to constantly having to adjust settings. can anybody with an UM3 show me some highest res prints they did.
  12. I can't wait to see a NFC chip dongle you can program yourself, and attach to your own spools. then you can dial in the perfect setup for non UM materials And I like to know, when they printed with PVA support, how long it took to clean off with water. it could increase finishing a print significantly.
  13. I would love to see an App that can see and control the UM3, would that be possible, or is it in the works already
  14. Printing faster in one thing, losing sharp details is another.
  15. At what time will it be revealed ? are we less the 24H away ? I see a great future for my Christmas bonus. Giddy as a schoolboy
  16. I was thinking about the new dual printing, would this make it possible to print faster, using a 0.4mm together with a 0.8mm nozzle, print fine detail for the outer surface and big fill on the inside ?
  17. It looks like a UM2+S, the bowden seems to be relocated at the right side now. So, is there going to be a launch party at Ultimaker HQ ? I would go [pretty please !]
  18. There better be an upgrade kit [shakes fist in the air]
  19. I F**n knew it my Ultimaker 2+ arrived 2 weeks ago :(
  20. Has anybody that has installed MacOS Sierra, still running Cura fine ? I just wanted to be sure, last MacOS update made some functions in Cura behave badly
  21. Your telling me " een paar maanden" ? and a "paar" is 2 :LOL I hear what you are saying, but I already delayed the purchase for 2 months, and I have to make the decision this week :( Guess I am going to be one of those buyers, that reads about the new UM3 weeks after buying the UM2's
  22. Then it will be 2017, and that will not be "This Year"
  23. And that's why I thought it would be out by now is there a big 3D printing even still happening this year, where they might launch the new model ? It's getting really silly with all these company secrets (But I do know why), but all it does is frustrate users :(
  24. I am also in a big dilemma, I want to buy bunch of UM's (10) for my workplace, I convinced them that UM is the better choice, but I would look real silly if UM will release a newer version in the next month or so I am tempted to look for another printer, that just renewed it's lineup, so I would be sure as not to look like a fool :( can anybody give me a hint if I should go ahead and order or wait a month or two ? or privately give me a go or no ?
  25. All the T-Rex parts were already printed and painted to fit the skeleton, but I saw the most if not all were printed in small segments and added to each other. not as long as the z-unlimited could go, I think they kept the prints to be able to print in working hours, and seem to be around 15 cm high A few had a little pillowing on the outside, where you could see the fill pattern, but only in reflection of the light. As far as I have read, they 3D scanned/ CT Scanned parts en mirrored/printed these. there is a schematic at the exhibition that shows what is real / printed / replicas from other skeletons. it is for 80% real, and is the most complete T-Rex ever found After 9 months, it will go on a world tour, so keep an eye out.
