this version does not work on my ultimaker I have and Ultimaker orgininal (early 2012) with heated bed and print head upgrade, the above firmware disabled the heated bed and the UMO+ firmware doesn't boot on the arduino. Bit at a loss here edit: got it, github n00b here

I am looking for the source code for the firmware version 14.12 for the ultimaker original+ On of the functions (extruder fan) has always been broken (UM refused to fix it btw) and I would like to connect the fan to one of the free pins, but I am looking for the source code of this firmware version, it does not appear to be on github.

I need a complete hot end kit +some spare peek parts. Mine went down in an epic failiure that i dont understand yet. The peek part melted, brass tube fell out and the hot end destroyed the fan shroud it fell into Trideus only has some minor parts. They do however have the full range of um2 parts

I would like to point out that is next to impossible to get spare parts for UMO in belgium, the only reseller real Belgian trideus is completely ignoring those. Coolblue only sells printers but thats it I have a broken down umo and im not able repair it. Not cool dudes, not cool

How is the usability with the newer materials like nylon (or basicaly any filament from taulman) Will there be a stainless steel nozzle for the more abrasive materials ?

I just tried to clean my hot end with some cleaning filament. It worked great at first, but then the hot end just melted right out of the peek insulator, it basicly fell out and then the heater block melted into the fan duct Should i have not used this filament ? The peek insulator is about a year old, was it simply near the end of its lifetime ?

Since they just released 2 new versions of the UM2, i doubt we will see an UM3 for at least another year and a half I will however be moving on to a big box for dual extrusion besides my UMO

Somehow the woorden part 8B on the bottom of the print head has cracked. I do still however have the original wooden witch was replaced by the the one from the hotend upgrade kit, are these identical ?

i upgraded my ultimaker original from early 2012 with heated bed and it was actually pretty straight forward, including the electronics. If you build your UMO yourself the heated bed upgrade should be no problem

I bought the hot end V2 kit for the Ultimaker original a couple weeks back, when i wanted to install it i found out one of the wooden parts is missing. I submitted a ticket nr OXB-734-16731 more than 2 weeks ago and the last response was 1 week ago in the mean time, my ultimaker is out of commision .....

I got it printing decently, but now i am experiencing warping even worse as before !

Turns out the z axis limit switch was bend witch screwed up the home position at the start of printing. fixed that, re leveld the bed and it seems to be better now, but still not the way it was with the blue tape

So I installed the heated bed kit on my ultimaker original. The problem is that the first layer does not stick properly. I use colorfab XT nozzle: 250 °C heated bed: 70 °C speed 50 mm/s Tiny blobs appear where the layer does not stick, at the next layer the nozzle digs into them and sometimes pushes the print off I use the glue stick and the bed is properly leveled, the cooling fan not turned on at this point anyone have a clue whats the problem ?
