  1. Seems like i spoke to soon, it seems the limit switches are disabled with the firmware, i was using printrun to set the Z level, and the X & Y did not stop when the limit switch's clicked, and also Z did not work at the start of a 2nd print and etched a track into the plastic plate and tape. Also with Netfabb generated Gcode i just get printrun showing a repeating T option in the box on the righthand side and nothing prints, i can get prints with Skeinpypy. But not good prints (but that is for the skeinpypy thread).
  2. I have had a look of the build styles in Netfabb and made a duplicate of 2A High Quality - Filled object, which i seem to use the most. But i cannot find any references to shells (walls) in any of the tabs or thicker extrusions for infill. Would it be contour type which is in the general build style settings ?. I wish there was detailed info for all these settings, for those that like to tweak
  3. Good it working fine, missed the upload batch file  Connected to printrun fine, and now doing my first print with the new firmware. Thanks for your help Daid Jonathan
  4. I am using Netfabb to do the slicing, and i am happy with it i just need to tweak it for the parts i make. Will have a look at the links in a mo
  5. I had the same errors when i built my machine last week, what i found is if you are using Rep26 and you install a new firware but NOT via Rep26 you get these errors. But if you update the firmware via Rep26 (there is a marlin build in there) then the machine will connect fine. I have now got Printrun working, so i plan on trying Daid's "Build-my-marlin" firmware which i understand does not work with Rep26, but works fine with print run.
  6. Thanks for the info Joergen, i will have a look tonight when i get home. I also noticed when using the high quaility profiles that the top and bottom layer of the part is wafer thin, if this was the same thickness as the walls it would be idea, i guess this might be something i can change in build style. At the moment i have not to much of a problem with warping, so i would be happy to test thicker walls etc. Could you give me a link to your Moab360 project ?, i would be very interested in seeing the profiles in netfab you are using. Jonathan
  7. I have only been using Netfabb for the last three days but really happy with it, but one of the main things i cannot work out is how to make a part so it is from solid material so no filling, even setting fill spacing to 0mm it still has filling rather than solid material. Its quite important to me, as some of the parts i make i need the strength of a solid part. Also is it possible to adjust the wall thickness, it would great to have a 1.5 or 2mm wall thickness, this could be a work around if i have to fill parts. Jonathan
  8. Daid, could you explain how to upgrade the firmware from the "Build-Me-Marlin", currently the only way i have been able to upgrade any firmware is within RepG 26, i have tried using Arduino 22 which seems to upload fine but printrun does not gain control and then RepG will also not connect. The good thing is when i reupload via Repg i have a working machine again. Also i have tried the ErikZalm-Marlin V1 RC2 and this does not work also using Arduino 22. So i am a little stuck at the moment, as i would like to use "Build-Me-Marlin" and printrun now that my Ultimaker is operational. Jonathan
  9. Daid, i am just building my ulitmaker would you recommend your default build to start with ? as i plan on jumping to Marlin straight away, and also will be using Netfabb as well. One other thing i am not sure about, will i need to add the M92 E14 line to Netgfabb if i use your build of Marlin ?. Jonathan
