  1. Hi Rick, If you need any help on your ticket please send me your ticket-ID.
  2. Ill continue to reply to this thread in English so everyone can read. If I may ask the other fellow Dutch participants to do the same, it will stay an open discussion for the rest to participate. (if you want, I can open a new thread in the language section especially for the Dutchies!) Anyway.. unfortunately I won't be able to make it after all this evening (I promise, it has nothing to do with make-up..) But some of my colleagues (Marrit + Erik) will be going. There is also someone going who is going to record the event. So this will be uploaded afterwards, and I will post it more actively on here as well once it is on Vimeo. I don't think there is room for an interactive connection, I think an Ulti-evening is to casual for something like that but I am in touch with Cez_etc and Blizz to set up a German and Belgium edition. And if you feel you also need an ulti-evening in your region, let me know!
  3. Hi Randy and Shurik, I will have someone from our technical support team contact you to give you some guidelines on how you can try and fix it yourself. Thank you!
  4. Not that I know of, but I will ask Ruud. You could also send an email to Colorfabb directly to ask if you want to know or perhaps they can bring a reel for you
  5. .. your guess would be as good as mine
  6. working on it to find the root of the problem. Lets hope it is fixed soon!
  7. that is what one might think... But have you read https://www.ultimaker.com/blogs/news/2014/08/15/world-s-first-3d-printed-petition-to-help-save-elephants blog? A real life sized elephant printed on a couple of Ultimakers! (ok ok, it is not a full size Pacific Rim Robot.. but it is pretty big!)
  8. haha I was gonna say. I know Jason, really nice guy. And I also know he is very happy with his Ultimaker 2 (the one Simon send ) but unfortunately they are veeeery closed in what they are using it for..
  9. I am not fully sure onto what level Colorfabb will tell you what to do, whether they have selected some models that show the unique strengths of these materials, or that you can chose your own files. But I guess it couldn't hurt to select some files that you would like to print, just to be sure.
  10. I can give it to Michiel! I will drop him an email, perhaps you can give it to him personally
  11. You are more then welcome and hopefully we will be able to answer all of them
  12. a-ma-zing!! Were you satisfied with the result? - Did you have to do some covering up during priming or not really? How did you assemble it, just glue it? I am very curious to see what it looks like when it is painted! I am really impressed!
  13. No need to sign up and free acces The only thing is if you want to join us for dinner (Chinese) it is approx. €10
  14. We are looking into possibilities of making a selection of parts or filaments available for purchase on the ulti evenings but for now we are facing some other challenges that have priority over this. But making this available is on my radar too. I will see if there is a temporarily solution.. I will also look into your ticket and see whats up with your fan.
  15. Hi Everyone, Next week it is time for the next Ulti-evening. Because last edition was such a success we want to keep the interactive part as the core of the ulti-evening. In that regard we will host the next edition in collaboration with Colorfabb. They will do a short presentation about their work and innovative materials. Colorfabb will also bring some sample packages which will include: XT ! / Woodfill / Glowfill / Bronzefill Together we will make some prints and hopefully you, as a user, will gain some extra insight on how different materials need different profiles and what different materials feel and look like. These sample packages will be handed out free of charge Some more practical information about upcoming Ulti-evening: Date: 25-08-2014 Time: 17.00 - 22.00 Location: ProtoSpace, Utrecht 17.00 - 18.00 Arrival (bring your Ultimaker) and order food if you are hungry. 18.00 - 18.30 Short introduction from Colorfabb 18.30 - 19.00 Food 19.00 - 22.00 Printing time! Looking forward seeing you there! the documentation of the previous workshop (choco-hack) is still in the making but will be published as soon as it is finished.
  16. Looks like very big fans! Are they the same as the electronics cooling fans? They are more powerful then the ones on the printhead. I think with this set up you are kinda overkilling it. I mounted a duplicate of the fan that was already on there, and even those I need to tune down in speed or else the temp will drop, or it will simply just blow away the filament. I would recommend smaller (5V I believe?) fans.
  17. Yes regular magenta PLA. I don't know why you think it under-extruded Trhuster? The print is rock-solid.
  18. arrrrgh. Now I have to make another attempt!! But how comes yours is hollow? Are we limited to the original design so our tools are within Cura or can we also hack the model? In that case a whole new challenge starts with different skill-sets. Or did you disable solid top and bottom? clever Aaron.. but this is not over
  19. Hi 3DPoro, without hijacking this topic, what problems are you having? Send me a DM if you need any help. About the print, before I went home yesterday I started a print. Here are the results: I was printed at 45mm/s, 200ºC and 80 micron, 5% infill. Zero post processing, it was done this morning, picked it off the build plate and put it in front of my cell phone.
  20. Do you have a picture of your printhead straight from the front?
