  1. Are they not pointed at the heaterblock? And the cool air is now coming from 2 sides. Try lowering the fan percentage to min 40 and max 60% or something. Does that work?
  2. Have you tried just decreasing print temperature? Is your fan 100%?
  3. That is what I wanted to say. Titus should know.. that was one of Joris' tips at the previous Ulti-evening
  4. I think we should also focus on a waterproof quad-car, sounds amazing. .. sounds a bit better then Ultimaker camel. To me.. that doesn't really sound like something that will ever fly I am thinking of another name. Nothing comes to mind yet. .. suggestions?
  5. Hi Erick, Thanks for getting involved. What do you mean by retractable landing gear? - Do you have an example? I think we should go for HK. Overall I think they have a decent quality but more importantly it is cheap and widely available. If we want this project to catch on after it is finished we want to make it as accessible as possible, and we can do that by keeping the financial barrier low. If you want to buy a more expensive component that is fine, but lets keep the default cheap.
  6. Did they belong to the amplifier circuit board? Or maybe out of the Tslots in the frame and the bolt you used was maybe a little bit too small?
  7. I would suggest something like: Layer height: 0.14mm Shell thicnkess: 0.8mm Temp: 245 Fill density: 15% Print speed: 50mm/s Fan: 0% Raft: No Support: No
  8. It is strange, but sometimes strange things happen. Hard to tell at this point what this is about. Anyway, I will forward the link to our point of contact with the authorities. Perhaps it is still of value to them. Thanks for notifying us anyway!
  9. I bought ninjaflex from 123inkt and I have no reason to be dissatisfied. They delivered on time and the material is running fine. I agree that different variations is not very convenient, and personally when the diameter is 3mm I wouldn't be to keen on using is. perhaps the first part goes ok, but when you get closer to the core of the reel the curve gets stronger and you get more friction. Also if you deform the filament slightly with your feeder (press it too hard) it can get stuck very easily.. but in most cases you will only have a failed print, and probably some difficulties getting the material out of your bowden tube, because it can be pretty darn stuck sometimes ..(putting it in warm water supposedly helps)
  10. ... what do you want to know?
  11. that looks cool! I like the wheels and how it can also be used as a bumpershield but also crawl up walls. However I do think we are focussing on outdoor use. (but most walls have an 'outside' too..)
  12. I don't know about you guys, but after 13 seconds I am just looking at 2 guys standing near a field Where did it go?
  13. A small edit: 1: I think it is a very fair (and important) question to ask how much people are willing to spend. But who is experienced in building a multirotor themselves and can make an accurate guess of what to expect at minimum? I will also ask with Erick who is experienced and can probably make a pretty good guess, and invite him to the forums to participate as well.
  14. A different orientation and custom support could also do a lot. If you can add it, you should look in the organic meshmixer support that some people have used. And whats up with the huge raft / footprint?
  15. Hi Schneck007, Do you mean Ultimaker by your printerstore or do you have a different printer? If you could update your profile and add what printers you have would be helpful. If you are experiencing difficulties with the filament, have you also tried getting in touch with Colorfabb? I know them and they are great guys who also have their own technical support staff. Perhaps you can even contribute in improving the overall quality or finetune the recommended profile.
  16. As an alternative you could also visit Protospace in Utrecht, the local fablab. That is actually where Ultimaker was born 3 years ago. Usually that is also where Ulti-evenings are hosted, but sometimes we travel around a little bit
  17. I would be interested to also see pictures of everyone's hacks! Personally, what made the biggest difference for me was adding a 2nd fan so I had dual fans on the Original. It improved the print quality and handled overhangs much better.
  18. Hi Alex, I know it took a very long time for us to complete the refund you requested and for that our apologies. I heard you were already contacted by our sales team and the finalization was yesterday. You should have the funds back on your account today or this weekend. Could you let me know when this is the case, or if you need any further help? Thank you for your time and patience, I hope you have a great weekend.
  19. Well you have picked out a good show to visit!! And I would count on me to organise something, at the moment there is too much on my plate already. But a simple bar would be sufficient right?
  20. Wherever you are all going to meet up, post it here in the thread. Time & place. If I have time I will also drop by!
  21. How about a rB&B? I have never used it, but you should be able to rent like affordable rooms. https://www.airbnb.nl/s/London--United-Kingdom
