You've probably solved the leakage by now, but if it's the same small leakage that I had - all you need to do is to run a piece of ABS plastic through the extruder. That'll close up any small leaks and that's what the "ABS fix kit" is for: http://wiki.ultimaker.com/Troubleshooti ... ruder_head J

Just a quick update on my build - I now use a 360 watt industrial PSU from China and it works like a charm! I'm still using the automotive relay and the setup works perfectly for both PLA and ABS now. The bed heats to 120C in 5 minutes and I was able to fit it nicely beneath the Ultimaker by printing these feet that Bernard posted some time ago: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12089 I'll post an update on the build as soon as I have the time required :-) J

@Tachyio How big is your heated bed pcb and what is the name of the supplier? Curious as I've only seen the Prusa PCB mentioned on forums, but yours seem bigger? J

I'd try using Cura. My setup uses Cura and a custom firmware generated with Daid's Marlin Builder: http://daid.eu/~daid/marlin_build/ Works like a charm!

I've seen some experimenting with a "heated chamber" by moving the steppers on the outside the Ultimaker, and enclosing the build space. That would still require a heated build surface, but this setup can prevent some cracks in ABS models as they cool off. J

@thereza I'm curious to hear why you enlarged the soldering points on the PCB? J

I know that others that connected it directly have problems with the electronics heating up too much, so I wanted to separate it entirely with the relay.

Prints fine using just the same settings as PLA with the exception of setting Packing density to 0.85 :-) J
