  1. Hi, is there any news on the bed? I would definetly buy it.. willing to spend about 160-200€.
  2. Hi Markus, I have sent you a message, I would like to order these advanced pulleys as well! :-P Thanks, Chris
  3. Hey Ian, Sure! Everything except layer height is really quite default, but I will still post the settings: layer height 0.075mm temperature: 215 fill: 20 travel speed: 150 print speed: 50 retraction-speed: 40 retraction-distance: 2mm retraction-min-travel: 5mm bottom layer speed: 20 (had some trouble with sticking sometimes, so slowed down, now it works great)
  4. Hey guys.. I just have to share this print with you.. At the weekend I assembled my ultimak3r, which is now my second 3d printer. Can you believe that this thing is one of my firsts prints? (5th I guess). I am stunned by the quality. No blobbing or strining at all. On the ears it had a bit of plastic strings, but I could remove that easily with my fingernail. By the way ts the first time I left the printer alone, as I left the house this morning.. I expected horror scenarios like a big messy ball of plastic but found this extremely nice print... wow this really made my day .. Hope you like it! Cheers, Chris
  5. Ok.. this seems to be a software problem. I used cura the first time today, and I had 0 blobbing at this square print. I will definitely stick to cura from now on, even though I had experience with slic3r and it's settings, cura's quality just blows me away..
  6. Hi, When printing I get this kind of blobbing on my prints, you can see them on the left and right sides of the picture. I watched the printer closely and found out that this happens when the printer is moving up in z axis.. in that friction of a second when the printhead stands still, a little bit of plastic drips out of the nozzle and causes these blobbs. Have you got any suggestion what I could do? I am using latest slic3r and marlin firmware, here are my slic3r settings.
