  1. Hi all, I tried to print this item: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nw64f6lzbdkoikk/LinaFullStar1_3.stl It is a fairly small item with very high detail on the top layer and so far I couldn't get the desired results. I used blue PLA and Cura 12.11 with various settings. I got the best results with the following settings, but its not even close to the quality needed to recognize the face on top: Layer Height: 0.05 Wall Thickness 0.8 Bottom/Top Thickness: 0.3 Fill density: 20% Speed: 50 Temperature: 230 Retraction is activated with Cura's default settings. Cura finds some model errors but seems to be able to correct them. Which software/firmware combination would you recommend for such an item and what settings would you use? Thanks in advance.
  2. Thanks for the tip. But I only found white little spacers. 4 each of slightly different size. 4 are just round tubes, the other 4 are hex shapes with threats inside: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ealtjeu69idm2jv/20121121_124336.jpg Are those correct and if so how do I use them exactly, since 4 are longer than the other 4. Edit: Never mind, found the 8 black spacer pieces. Thanks.
  3. Hello, I am in the process of assembling the recently purchased Ultimaker. The 4mm laser sheet described here (http://wiki.ultimaker.com/Laser_Pack_v1.0) seems different from the one I received: https://www.dropbox.com/s/u10jpyg9ianqvt1/20121121_105527.jpg I do not have the parts 7B and 7C to assemble the X-Y motors for example: http://wiki.ultimaker.com/Ultimaker_rev.3_assembly:_X_%26_Y_motors Are there different assembly instructions I should use or did I get the wrong parts?
  4. Hello, We just ordered our Ultimaker. While we wait for it we would like to already do some test prints and were wondering whether anyone in the U.S. (we are in California) would print a few items for us. They will be similar to this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ojgptp2iw4wqr ... a_64kF.stl Feel free to contact me directly at jesko (at) yourexpressions.net Jesko
  5. I would be interested as well. Email to Jesko (at) yourexpressions.net.
