Wie helpt me op weg? alvast dank. Ari
  5. This morning I installed a new Arduino and everything works fine now.
  6. Thank you so much Anon for all this information, Great!! One led blinks during the upload at the same time a rule appears on the screen with "time out" I used the reset button several times without any result The serial Terminal disappears when I start with an upload :( Ultimaker will send me today a new Arduino, this takes to much time for us. Thank's
  7. Stephan, here is the way to find out what serial you need for the Arduino IDE: You can find your Arduino via Terminal with ls /dev/tty.* then you can read that serial port using the screen command, like this screen /dev/tty.[yourSerialPortName] [yourBaudRate] for example: screen /dev/tty.usbserial-A6004byf 9600
  8. I was not able to flash the Arduino Mega 2560 with Arduino IDE My serial for the Imac was: /dev/tty.usbmodemfd141
  9. Here the same problem as Stepan, Today I tried to flash the Arduino (Mega 2560) through Arduino ID, as anon wrote: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's make sure you have the right source. Download this zip file: https://github.com/U...e/Marlin_v1.zip and extract the Marlin-Marlin_v1 directory from it. Make sure you have the latest version of the Arduino IDE (I have 1.0.5 and I think 1.0.6 is out, either will work). Get it from here if needed: http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software Start the Arduino IDE and go to the file menu and click open. Find where you extracted the Marlin-Marlin_v1 directory above and go into the Marlin directory. In the Marlin directory, select Marlin.pde This will open a new window for the pde. You can close the original window (not sure why it does that). Go to the Tools menu, select Board and choose the "Arduino Mega 2560 or Mega ADK" item. On the same Tools menu, go to Serial Port and select the serial to which your printer is connected. Now go to the Sketch menu and click Verify / Compile. You should get a message like: Binary sketch size: 109,480 bytes (of a 258,048 byte maximum) Now go to the File menu and choose Upload. It will recompile again and flash the firmware to the printer. Now reinstall the Arduino into the printer and make sure it is working. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- but stil the same results: "time out" So, I think the Arduino 2560 is not working anymore. I also made the wrong decision to choose for Ultimaker Original+ instead of Ultimaker Original with a heat bed after installing the kit. :( I hope the solution is near because I use this machine during a presentation for a lot of people, next week. with or without that heatbed.
  10. Same problem here after upgrading to the wrong firmware (Original Plus) :( http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/2995-heated-bed-for-the-ultimaker-1/page-9?hl=%20led%20%20light
  11. I was more thinking about the electronic circuit board
  12. Thank you Anon, This evening I have tried to compile / flash the firmware of the printer on the way you described to build the basic firmware through the Arduino IDE 1.0.6, but unfortunately, here I get a timeout as well during the upload and nothing appears on my ulticontroller. I think he is dead :(
  13. Ok. Thank you Daid and Zungara, I understand, I took the wrong firmware version, but how to get rid of that "time out". I can't upgrade to the Original version anymore.
  14. After installing the heat bed kit from Ultimaker, and upgrading the firmware (cura 14.09) to original plus, I got an error. after a new try I got a time out and on my controller the menu disappeared. I uninstalled the heatbed, but there is still no menu on the controller. Any idea what to do now?
  15. Now it would be nice to receive the heatbed kit before monday. Ari de Kok
  16. Any idea what to do to get this screen back to normal. Thanks, ari
  17. I just find out, working in a new clean account on the iMac, everything works fine :-P ari
  18. Thank you David, I look forward to install 13.02 :-P ari
  19. Everytime I use Cura, Netfabb or Slic3d, after a while my screen freezes and I need to restart my iMac. The programs don't need to slice much. On my Macbook there are no problems. except that Cura 12.12 and 13.1 can not be installed. But 12.11 still works great. Any idea? ari de kok
  20. thank you Daid, but I don't no how to run that app in the terminal. thank's anyway ari
  21. Is there something I need to know to get Cura 12.12 installed on my old black Macbook. I installed Cura, but after I activate it the app. disappears. Do I need to install something more or is my macbook to old for this app. It's a late 2006 2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo model with 2 Gb Ram and I work with OSX 10.7.5 Cura works fine on my iMac. Thanks ari
