  1. Hi everybody,

i decided to sell my Ultimaker. The machine works fine but for the objects that i'd like to make i would need something that prints ABS, has an heated bed and also possibly an heated chamber so the Ultimaker was not the best choice for what i need to do.

    Ciao a tutti,

  2. Hi Ultimaker team,

    Hi everyone,

I am thinking of building a 3D printer based on Ultimaker since I'm using it atm, and sell the printer. The printer will have different design as well. My question, how's the license agreement is since we can download the Ultimaker blueprint freely, will I be charged for patent infringement or something? I'm thinking of mass producing the printer with my research team.

    Regards.

  3. Hello All,

I recently purchased an Ultimaker unit about 3 weeks ago. Assembled the entire unit and have decided that its not a fit for what I need it for. Device comes with the Ulticontroller and 2GB SD card disk for direct printing without a computer. also I have two spools of White ABS and the PLA spool it comes with as well (One ABS spool has been used only to prep the machine and other 2 are intact). I've Removed the nozzle it came with (so there are some light tool marks on the aluminum block) but have a spare that I can send with it that I had for backup. Its in perfect condition really but I just don't have the time to tinker with it really. Please let me know if you're interested. I'm in the United States and willing to ship anywhere even internationally. I will also be flexible on the price. If you message me I can send photos of the unit in full detail.

    Best,

    Michel

  4. hello there,

too much trouble for me with the software issues. ultimaker is a great 3d-printer for this money, most likely the best. but i need a pro tool, where i feed the 3d-cad drawing and press print.....and it works, and the finish is superb...

so if anybody fancy an assembled, not used ultimaker, got it delivered early march, assembled in march, now collecting dust.... 4 rolls of plast as well.... u can get a good price, better for all

  5. For sale is a fully assembled Ultimaker, it was bought almost exactly a year ago and assembled by us for use in making prototype parts for an upcoming product. We've since decided on a wood CNC design and thus are selling the Ultimaker. We did make a few test prints and prototype parts so can confirm the machine is working properly. I did find the feed mechanism to be a bit fiddly so we purchased the new 'hot-end v2' upgrade but have not yet installed it so that will be included as well. In addition to the Ultimaker and the hot-end upgrade i have 1 spool of ABS plastic and 1 spool of PLA plastic (both 'natural' color) plus about 1/2 a spool of black PLA which i'll include to get you started.

Buying all this new in the USA would cost roughly $1900 (1575 for the Ultimaker, $75 for the v2 Hot end upgrade, $75 for plastics plus $190 shipping from the Netherlands). And then you'd still have to put it all together, which was a pretty daunting task.

Asking $950 for everything (ie. roughly half of what it would cost new) plus shipping or I'd meet you for personal delivery within 2 hr drive of Washington DC.

    Thanks,

    Steve
