As a thought, I think I read that PLA is biodegradable. Does this make it unsuitable for 'production' parts? Bob

Not sure what the difference would be quality wise, but looking at using ABS as an ongoing material. I assume that the resolution would be the same for both materials.

I am in the UK and looked with interest at the Ultimaker, after seeing it on the Gadget Show. Before looking any further, I would like to find out how good the prints are for my models. Would anyone be able to print me off one of my designs, in ABS and high quality. I would offer reasonable payment by Paypal.
