  1. Thanks Erik, First I used IE 10.0.9200.16660 (for the Debuggers:)). The site did not even try to do an upload, not with 64 kb jpeg nor with the stl's. Did n't see the upload status bar at all. I tried Chrome and it worked!!! Hires stl was 33mb. regards kees My first upload hihi...
  2. oh oohw, just uploaded a model, but it's pretty empty. Could use some outside iMAGINation, to get the pictures and stl files through the wire....
  3. Hi Gaël, I've downloaded software from microsoft, kinect for windows SDK. Works fine, only play around with the settings
  4. New Prints?... Playing with Kinect for windows..
  5. Thanks daid, I'll do some 'dry practicing'
  6. Hi There, A lot of dual extr. kit info to be found here, but after 5 cups of morning coffee I still have a question. I know how to order one, as an Engineer/ Mechanic I think i can fit one in my printer. For the software part, I rely on the people in Geldermalsen. But.. how do you make a 2colored STL? :-| Have different CAD programs, but none of them ask me in which color or wich extruder I want to use or export the file? All answers, tips and comments welcome  Regards Kees
  7. thanks for the answer. that leaves us waiting for a cura update, and switching between 13.04 / 13.06 I guess.
  8. Hi, A retraction related question (I guess) . Spend a few cups of coffee reading Q&A on these forums. But found no answer yet for my question. Using Cura 13.06.4, (in 13.04 no problems, but I start using 13.06 more often, because its moving around a lot smarter and faster (I think  )) While printing a vase or other solid object, retraction enabled, no infill to hollow the object, 0.8 wall thickness. retraction is working, feeder is running backwards sometimes. Accept when the printhead is crossing the print from wall to wall. in cura seen as a straight blue line. Is there a solution to get rid of the stringing, (temp is as low as possible, travelspeed as high as I want it) I read a lot of marlin troubles and updates. about, what I think, was related to speed. Is it a cura problem, or a marlin thing? Regards kees
  9. Hi, In some thin walls I had the same problem, try to use no retraction, In my case the extruder retracted in the infill pass, that gave the dots. Switching of retraction will not harm your print, because it does'not retract anyhow where i want it too, and that's on the blue lines in your screenprint, crossing the print from one wall to the other :( In the old 13.04 version you can adjust the minimum travel, so you have no retraction on infill.
  10. "NO I WON'T REMOVE THE AUTO SLICING OR MAKE IT CONFIGURABLE. Asking for it nicely, crying, or even coming over to my house with pitchforks and torches won't help (But you will get an odd look from me for doing that). You can use 13.04 if you are not happy about the 13.06 release right now. But this won't help in getting the real issues fixed." Perhaps a 'little short trough the corner' ... One of the benefits of free software is to use the version you want! Keep the printer busy and in the meantime, wait for things to come..
  11. "I haven't studied it in detail", but I see it sometimes in my prints also. The side away from the fan, looks different. Guess, better or worse, depends on the temps you use. I'm looking for a fanduct, 1001 versions make hard to choose one
  12. http://wiki.ultimaker.com/CuraPlugin:_Flowthermostat This is something you need I guess! Works great..
  13. Hi There, This morning I upgraded to Cura 13.06.2, I Like the 'Project' part in it! easy to use, and to (like 12.xx) positon the print on the platform where you want it, Gives me less Blue tape changing. Is it possible to put the 'Print sequence' back in again? Infill/Perimeter/loops gave my a smoother outside, and less Spider webs because of the idle traveling. Regards, Kees
  14. Moghu, Using my Ultimaker with a pc connection for 7 months, only gives me trouble when the pc is stressed (using an old one :???: ). Some other tools in my 'mancave' give a powerdip when switching on/off. Sometimes the printer stops. A 'Little' stressful for me when making 12 hour prints  This week I finally mounted my Ulticontroller, still figuring out the advantages, but found them! No usb or voltage trouble anymore. Using Cura as slicer and printer controller , They work together! Like the preheat option in the Ulticontroller! Preheating when fiddling with the slicer. In Cura you have to wait until it's done slicing and you can start printing. Ulticontroller has a flowrate adjustment, Like that! I still have to find the 'Fill'speed option. Regards Kees
  15. I use Cura 13.03 and like to use projectplanner for printing a lot of the same parts. I can copy the parts multiple times, I can print them. Works fine! Only problem... For using the same parts, setup and layout anoher time, I can't save the project. When saving, I can enter a filename. But it won't save.. or it won't load. I can not find a projectplanner file anywhere on my computer. Tried saving my parts as a 'single stl file in a plate' I can find the Gcode files of the multiple parts, but can not use them again. What am I Doing wrong? Regards Kees de Ligt
