  1. It used to work for 4.10. We changed some tolerance settings and missed that it wouldn't print something if it was lower than the initial layer height. So that's our bad.
  2. Well, you could set the top-bottom pattern to be concentric. Changing it to zig-zag might also get what you want.
  3. The walls of the object are too thin. By default the "Print thin walls" setting is disabled. Enable that to get that to work.
  4. I don't understand what your issue is. The area that you circled just has ironing moves over the walls. If you don't want that, disable ironing.
  5. Please report issues on github (https://github.com/ultimaker/cura/issues/). It's very hard for us to keep track of issues over multiple platforms. That being said; I don't see anything strange in your logs. What happens if you click "CHeck for account updates" when you log in?
  6. We haven't added any new features for this. You can export & import custom profiles though. Preferences->Configure cura-> profiles -> select profile -> export The same menu that has the export also has an import button. You can do the same for custom materials. Alternatively, you can also save a project, which should also work (so if someone else opens the project, the profile gets added)
  7. Yeah, sorry, that was our bad. See https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/10407
  8. Never mind the 9 years of commercial experience that I have by working for Ultimaker then 😉? I'm not arguing that it has no value (or doesn't work at all), but rather that it doesn't provide any meaningful benefit to what is already out there. This especially when considering the amount of work that needs to be done to implement it. If the infill is significantly better, we could (and should) reconsider this decision, but as I said, I've not seen any evidence that that is the case. But for every thing we build, there are a number of other things that we don't build. So as much as that sucks, we have to always weigh the value of building something to the other things we could be spending our time on.
  9. We just never bothered to implement hex infill because we didn't really see the point. It might make things a tiny bit stronger, but you would also need to stop extruding or do other tricks to get it to work. So as far as we've been able to tell, it's better in theory, but in practice it doesn't really matter. The cross infill gets you the same bang for your buck, but is a lot easier to implement. But if someone shows some tests that prove that hex infill is actually better (strength tests, tensile tests, etc), we can be convinced.
  10. I've personally not had this issue. All profiles should be converted automatically. If this doesn't happen, that's a bug and it's best reported on github (https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues). Make sure to also include your configuration folder and log files. That should be the case. You shouldn't even have to do this. The exporting is really intended to share a single file with someone, not to make entire backups. We have a build in backup plugin to do that. Because it's a bug that we didn't know about 😉
  11. We've had this reported here as well: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/issues/10394
  12. Preferably use the 4.11 BETA when collecting the logs. We have increased the number of log entries, so it makes it a lot easier to figure out what is going wrong.
  13. So we used to use year.month.patch. At some point we switched over to semver; Major.minor.patch. So the last version of Legacy Cura (which the version that you have is based on) is 15.04.6. So we released that in 2015. We now release a new version every 2 months. We update the major version number if we have major changes (usually API breaking or other really large changes)
  14. Did you set the setting_version in those files to be 17?
  15. Issues can best be logged at https://github.com/ultimaker/cura/issues/ It's no guarantee that we will work on it though.
