[Top surface didn't fully closed]

Hi,

I have been trying to print the squinty head model (http://www.flickr.com/photos/98728747@N03/9263653778/lightbox/). The setting I used were:

Layer height : 0.1

Shell thickness : 0.8

Top thickness : 1.2

Fill density : 0

Is there any other setting that I should change?

Hi guys, I am new to this forum and I have been using Cura with my non-ultimaker 3D printer for the last couple of weeks. I found it is far much better than repetier in terms of ease of use, slicing speed, stability and print quality. There are only two minor problems I faced :

1. How can I extrude/retract filament directly using Cura? Currently I have to use repetier to extract/rectract and then use Cura for printing.

2. The print time showed was not accurate. For example, Cura shows the print time is 8 minutes but in actual it took half an hour to print.

Hope you guys can help me with those problem, thanks a lot...
