Yes, you can switch the lights off on the S5 and then the lights of the Material Station go off as well.

I would vote against a general remote possibility to confirm the removal. However, a boolean flag in the firmware which indicates if actually any line has been printed or not yet could give the information necessary to abort a not-yet-started print remotely without having to confirm the removal on the printer.

I assume you are talking about a network-connected Ultimaker printer - so it is actually a firmware thing, not a Cura thing.
However, the S-line printers and also the Ultimaker 3 familiy have that behavior for good reasons. It is crucial, that the user confirms that the build plate is empty - doesn't matter if the print was aborted or properly finished. If it wouldn't stop at that point, it would continue with the next print job in the queue.
As the internal camera does not show the complete build plate when the print bed is fully down, the only safe way to do this is to request that confirmation on the printer itself.
There is one possible exception I see. When a print was aborted before any line was actually printed (could be a simple boolean flag in the firmware), aborting a printer could skip the removal-request.

That is the base of a prime tower which you can disable under "dual extrusion" in the custom settings.

As Aquasys120 is fully compatible with PLA the only reason to keep the PVA might be the price tag, PVA being the less expensive of the two materials. But that is only a topic if you print really a lot.

Was the generic CPE profile among your tests?

I would switch it off and push a longer piece of robust filament, e.g. Tough PLA all the way through 1A and pull it out at the back (disconnect the Material Station Bowden tube below the main feeder of the S5 for this).

With the S5 now being in the market for more than two years I would not expect those files to be realeased at all.
But maybe you need a part that was already on the UM3? Those hardware sources are available at Github.

Make sure you use a material that can stand some temperature and pressure. PLA is too weak for that purpose to my experience.

You might want to give Aquasys120 a try. I would rate the combination as experimental but there is some adhesion.

Das Teilen ist nicht nötig. Man kann ein Modifier Mesh definieren, dieses so skalieren und positionieren, dass es das fragliche Volumen überlappt und dann den anderen Extruder diesem Volumen zuteilen.

The standard M3x16 or M3x14 screws are still used for all purposes other than the casing. But not for the bottom cover. I would check inside the build volume for a missing screw, e.g. somewhere on the bottom of the print bed.

You might want to try resetting all printer data (on the printer). You will lose all settings except print core calibrations. Then connect the printer through LAN/WiFi with Cura and restart Cura to initiate the material data transfer.

Yes, the Ultimaker 3 is not produced anymore. There might be some units left in the warehouses of distributors and resellers.
Spare parts can be provided five years after a model is discontinued. That means you get spare parts but maybe you have to buy an assembly, i.e. more than just the parts you actually have to replace.

The softest material among the Ultimaker partner materials have a hardness of 85 Shore A. This is pretty much the limit you can go with a Bowden printer for professional usage. Hobby users might try hacks like oiling the inside of the Bowden tube for printing even softer material.

Same material family (co-polyesters) but not the identical material. But the CPE profile is indeed a good starting point for PET-G.

Do you use Ultimaker Essentials Early Access? Then please get in contact with your reseller and ask him for a Digital Factory compatible firmware for your Ultimaker 3.

I see your point. Yes, afaik the brand is not included in the text displayed on the printer. But you can use e.g. "colorFabb XT" instead of just "XT" in the type field and then it should be displayed correctly.
The routines for displaying that name on the printer probably come from a time where no strategic material partnership existed (Ultimaker 3 Launch). So it could have been intensional. But with the partner materials and the tendency that people want to have more and more their own profiles it could be that it will be adjusted in future.

Generic materials as defined in Cura should be all compatible with the Material Station. If your Pro Bundle does not let you choose one of those something might be broken with the material table in your printer. In such a case, I would recommend to reset all printer settings.
Defining Material Station compatible materials in Cura is not that straigth forward. You can copy a generic material and unlink it from the original material to get it sent to the printer. But you cannot define the Material Station specific properties like depriming temperature etc. in Cura but only in the json file of the material itself.
If you just have a different PLA then you will probably be fine leaving those settings as they are as differences between different PLA filaments tend to be rather small. If you have a completely new material you would definitively have to adjust those settings in order to ensure proper unloading etc. of the material.

Did you disconnect the Material Station from power?
If not, please do that and it might work. Don't forget to push the filament that might still be in one of the channels from to front to the back and pull it out there, maybe where the Bowden tube enters the main feeder of the printer.
If the filament is indeed jammed get in contact with your reseller.
