  2. Just to whome it may concern :-) The SolidWorks Plugin is also working with SW2013 parts & assamblies...
  3. Amazing mod! So assume, with a little more effort, my UMO can be pimped too... :-)
  4. Guys, do you have any idea when app. 2.7 will be released or if there is something like a "nighly 2.7 beta2"? b.t.w. @nallath, hope that your vacation was relaxing and fun... :-)
  5. @Nallath, @Ghostkeeper: I use a SW called Vector Aspire for generating my gCodes for milling. There is a functionality, that if you place your "homemade" postprocessor in a defined folder (called mypostprocessors), the delivered default postprocessors (~30 different) will not be displayed in the GUI selection - just to make the list shorter. Would it be a possibility to use such feature to sort the material profiles? I have my own already in appdata...\\materials and delete the delivered profiles from the program directory every time I update Cura to cleanup the list... Or implement a checkbox in material management to select the relevant... What do you think?
  6. ha... managed to get 2.7 running on my office PC - thank god I got admin rights :-) Nevertheless, also using the supplied test.slprt and test.slasm, I get the note "Can not open file type"... Very strange... any hint or is it just an Error80 (means me...) b.t.w. @LePaul, I completely support your request(s). Also some colleagues in the company I'm working for (we have 2 UM2+ and 1 UM3) raised the video idea some time ago...
  7. Could you please specify if there is a SolidWorks Installation requred, if yes, which Version, and if it supports 2.7 only or also 2.6.x? Can't give 2.7 a try as it immediately quits with error when starting... :-(
  8. ok, in this case you could report a bug or ask for support at the Marlin Git... https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin
  9. Ev. hilft das... https://www.bastelbunker.de/marlin-pid-autotuning-fuer-3d-drucker/ or http://www.3deee.ch/?p=508
  10. Normally it shouldn make a difference in the setup, the only difference is the PID tuning for the stronger heaters. To compensate this it'S necessary to run PID autotune first, note the values and change them in configuration.h. Then flash the updated FW. This you need to do anyway if heaters are changed - no matter which fork you use. I would recommend to use the github version, modify configuration.h according to your setup, setup PID autotune, compile, flash and run .... After this procedure and update of the PID values, everything should work...
  11. In this case I would highly recommend using the fork from Ultimaker Marlin or - easier - the one from amedee. He put everything in a nice generator and it works perfect. Try this generator https://bultimaker.bulles.eu/ or this FW from Github: https://github.com/AmedeeBulle/Marlin
  12. Hey, just an advice from the bottom of my heart as I also already spend a few hours with Marlin 1.1.4: Kick it... Go back to the version delivered with your UMO+ and be happy. The new Marlin versions are completely reworked from the status quo Ultimaker branched their version. The old one is stable, the new one is just a collection of features not really necessary. But just for my interest - what's the reason you'd like to change the FW?? Again, just my 2 cents, but you won't be happy with this crap on your UMO... trust me, I know what I'm saying...
  13. is it working on 2.6.2 too? my 2.7 crashes always at startup :-(
  14. Looks VEEEERRRRYYY nice - at least for a few seconds. Already placed the crash report at github. (@nallath) Nevertheless, I love the dark theme and I´m really curiouse to test the keboard shortkeys for manipulating... Man, can't wait... :-)
  15. Whoo... that´s really straigt forward... so assuming, even I can manage it *lol* Thanks!!!
  16. @amedee, short question: how have you hooked up the E3D amplifier?
  17. I would also jump in for a hex infill request, as it also gives an very easy possibility to create nice objects when removing the top layers - e.g. pen boxes, ammo trays, battery trays, ... :-)
  18. Have the same issue and made the following workaround: - setup an additional printer with single nozzle setup - use a postprocessor migrated to 2.5 from DaHai8 to "select" the second nozzle when printing only with the second one. For me it´s working quite well...
  20. Tried to import "old" profile files (.ini) from 15.04. Cura 2.6.0 says "successfully loaded" but there is no entry in the profile settings nor any change in slicing settings... @ nallath maybe a bug or just my damn old notebook...?
  21. Hi there! Is there any way to set a postprocessor plugin permanentely? maybe via the machine definition? would be very usefull e.g. for ShowLayer...
  22. ... hopefully selectable via a keyboar shortcut and not another button to click onto... *hopedieslast*... :-P
  23. Guys, could you please do me a big favor and also try to implement keyboard shortcuts for "move", "rotate" and "scale". It´s a bit annoying to always need to click on the button when in "working mo(o)d(e)" ;-)
