  1. Thank you for the head's up ! I know what I have to do now ;-)
  2. Yes, it pauses... I'll consider the idea for the TweakAtZ plugin which will probably survive the change to the Cura Pink Unicorn version. Hi. A year already passed and I still didn't found any solution to my problem. I still set an alarm on a smartphone based on the time I calculate and this alarm reminds me to check my print but it's still not precise. Did anyone knows about a solution ? A plugin ? A code ? Anything ?
  3. Hi ! I use an Ultimaker Original for almost two years now. (and I'm still so happy with it !!!) There is an option I really would like to see in Cura but unfortunately, I'm not skilled enough to code it myself. That option would allow user to set an alarm up at a certain Z axis position (or a number of layers). In some case, you need to check something during the print at a certain time. Until now, I always set up an alarm on my smartphone that reminds me I have to go and check the print but it's based on calculation not really precise. If I could set an alarm in cura when I prepare my slicing (for example in the layers view) and the controller buzz at that exact Z position or layer number, it would be really great. Maybe some plugin already exist ? Anyway, If you have any other idea related or if you feel like this option should be included, please let me know. Regards Loyc
  4. BTW, the printer works just fine ! I only have a problem with the controller which click but not jog... but I'll check the forum and try to find what I did wrong. Good night.
  5. Hi, I just finish assembling my Ultimaker 3D printer. I wanted to send a huge thanks to the everyone in the community. Here is why : When I was a kid, I spend a lot of time playing with a famous brick game (I don't need to spell the name of it as everyone in the community surely played it toooooo much already). At that time, spending hours assembling new models was such great moments. I'm 35 now and I never had this same feeling again. But yesterday, since I unbox the Ultimaker printer, I spent a so great time following the assembling instructions. It felt like I was 7 years old again ! During the assembling steps, I often felt like, even if the printer never work, I'm satisfied already. So thank you again, only for giving us the possibility to feel like kids playing with the toy you all participated to bring alive. BTY, I also was so surprised by the way everything went right during the assembly. I followed a lot of other assembly instructions in my life and there is always something wrong, something that makes me think : "it should be like this or like that instead...". With those assembly instructions, I always thought : "WTF ! those guys are genius !". Now I understand what Chris Anderson meant about open source projects in "MAKER". Well, let's stop spreading my happiness and let's start configuring software and start MAKING ! Bravo !
