  1. I also printed it with PLA from igo3d. On the first test the PLA was cracking. So i scaled up the holes with a rasp. Did you mean in the description, that you need to print the Base 105% or the top cover? Because i printed the top cover 105 %, but this was totally oversized. So i printed it in 101%, perfect fit :cool: Attached some pics, really luminous colors :mrgreen:
  2. I just tested this for a colleague but unfortuantely the "press fit" method on PLA body and arms is not working. The PLA will crack. So i think this is only working with ABS or XT. For complete PLA you need to print the arms a little smaller or rasp something out.

  4. Hi Markus, genau immer beim Richtungswechsel. Ja genau, 3000 mm/s und unten drunter sind gut. Auslieferungszustand kommt drauf an. Ich hatte damals einen der ersten UM2 bekommen und bei mir war 5000mm/s eingestellt. Damals sind genau diese Probleme bei mir aufgetreten. Als ich es dann auf 3000mm/s runtegeschraubt hatte, waren die Ergebnisse nicht perfekt aber vollkommen ausreichend. Einige im Forum sind sogar auf 1500 mm/s runtegagen, aber am Ergebnis ändert dies wohl nicht mehr viel. http://gr5.org/ulti/temperature.jpg Das könnte evtl auch noch Interessant sein.   5. Hi Markus, Travel Speed ist ja eigentlich was komplett anderes. Die Acceleration Speed gibt an, wie schnell sich der Druckkopf aus z.B. einer Ecke auf eine gerade wieder beschleunigt. Umso höher der Wert, umso schneller beschleunigt er. Testweiße könnt Ihr mal 5000 mm/s probieren, da kommen einige Vertikalen Streifen mehr dazu. Erst bei ca. 1-2 cm von der Ecke entfernt, gehen diese wieder weg. Bei 3000 mm/s sind diese so gut wie gar nicht mehr sichtbar und falls doch, dann mal auf 1500 mm/s runtergehen. Die Travel Speed gibt an, wie schnell sich der Druckkopf bewegt bei nicht extrudierenden fahrten. Also wenn er über das Objekt fährt ohne zu drucken. Grüße
  6. Das liegt vermutlich an deiner xy acceleration speed. In den Druckereinstellung am UM2 unter acceleration solltest du den entsprechenden Eintrag auf 3000 oder sogar auf 1500 umstellen. Die Achsen Beschleunigen zu schnell und dadurch kommt es zu diesen vertikalen Streifen. Gruss
  7. Die neuen Innofill Filamente wo Igo3d anbietet sind wirklich super. Die Qualität der Ausdrucke ist 1a, zudem auch der Preis. Weiter oben wurde mal was zum XT gefragt. Kurzum, mittlerweile mein Lieblingsfilament. Die Layers sind bei einer Höhe von 0,15 und kleiner nicht mehr sichtbar. Sie verschmelzen miteinander perfekt. Zudem ist das Material um einiges flexibler wie PLA. Die ausgedruckten Teile haben eine Qualität, wie man es nur von wenigen anderen FIlamenten kennt. Ich würde sagen, derzeit eins der besten Filamente am Markt.
  8. Hey Robert, yes some things from above i know. But exactly this is what i mean. Everybody has some informations, but nothing concrete. It's really time that here comes something official from Ultimaker Like a thread with planed timelines or statuses or something.
  9. Hello Ultimaker Team, now i'm having my Ultimaker 2 over 3 months and I must say, that's a really nice machine. Got some really good prints, also some bad ones but overall, i'm really satisfied with the UM2. But as you can read/hear everyday in the internet/newspapers the 3d industry is growing fast. Other brands releasing new printers fast and there are a lot of options on the market. I hope that you have overbear the first run on the UM2. But now i think its time to give some informations on adons and spare parts. Some examples: - Spare nozzle's in different diameters (0.1 / 0.2 / 0.3 /0.4 / 0.8 / 1...) - Second extruder or possible more in plan? - Support material with easy remove, which don't destroy the whole print - general spare parts - Wifi and other great things Also i think, without this forum many people had thrown their UM2's out of the window. Many problems, but a official statement from Ultimaker was always missing. For example the underextrusion problem on 50% of the machines. Please don't understand this wrong, as i said, it's a great printer, but now i think it's really time to go on and share you're progress and timelines So that all the users have a vision when what will be released or planed to be released. You have a great community here, with lots of brilliant guys, which are inverst a lot of time to help other users and also give u input on many different things. I really apriciate this.   10. Just go for 60° C bed temperature and a little glue (pritt stick). Then you are fine, the part will remove really easy after it's cooled down.
  11. At the moment i'm making the first test with Woodfill fine and a UM2 with 0,4 mm nozzle. It's really smelling nice These settings seems to be nice: 0,27 mm Layer height 50mm / s speed 228° Temp (i have everytime the feeling that you need 10-20°C more than on the UM1 or other printers because of the small nozzle / heating area) 8s layer time Fans 100% Heated bed off + some glue stick applied (without its not working on the cold glass, but probably working on blue tape) Retraction currently not testet. For Woodfill i needed to relevel the UM2 to 0,2mm. (2 papers) At the first layers i had some underextrussion because of the low temp (205°C recommended. Also it is not possible to change the color, when you go up to 260° C

  14. Ian, which PLA you use? Is it from Ultimaker? Are the prints nice at this speeds? Look the edges like edges or like curves? Same here, i get under extrusion.
  15. Hallo Alexander, das hört sich so an, als ob Du von deinem Rechner per USB aus druckst? Wenn ja, probiere es mit der SD Karte. Wenn ich per Cura über USB drucke, passiert genau das selbe. Der UM2 ist aktuell noch nicht für den USB druck support, lediglich das Firmwareupdate sollte man darüber machen. Grüße Benny
  16. Same here, the front left is about 0,5 to 1 mm in the air. But the printer works fine. I've printed some feet, where i put a little paper in. Under the feed there some rubber feets. http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/1578/ikz8.jpg
  17. @gr5: retraction at 4,5mm is also not enaugh. Best settings for me are 5,1 or 5,2.

  19. Yes i also downgraded the firmware and cura back to 13.10 .
  20. Got the same problem here after updating firmware and Cura 13.11. The hotend temp jumps around +- 15° C. Also the layers does't change the direction. Always the same way.   21. Hi Roman, lass das blaue Tape einfach weg. Nimm den Klebestift und reibe die Fläche etwas ein. Ohne blaues Tape werden auf einer beheizten Plattform bessere Ergebnisse erziehlt. Grüße

  23. Hey, is the pla allready at the bowden tube? Probably you need to push and pull a little bit the transparent pipe at the bowden tube. Sometimes the PLA didn't go into the bowden tube. Than you need to bounce a little bit. Got that problem at the material change also on the um2.
  24. Hey Daid, but why is the UM2 then not retracting at all the blue lines? Sometimes it retracts, but not really often at the 2 vases. When it retracts, it works nice. I can send you a gcode file of the square vase. About 1000 layers (at 0,1 layer high) and there are only 10 retractions (g10 and g11's). And that's what it's look like.   25. gr5 you got it! i just set the 2 settings to zero and there where no vertical lines. So i just testet to swtich to a ultimaker 1. And there we go, vertical lines. So this is defenetily a bug in cura. Is it possible to print with the ultimaker one settings? Thanks really for your help.
