    When installing aftermarket HID or LED headlight bulbs in a newer model Subaru, the headlight housing cap will likely not fit without modification. This part will fit into a 50 mm (2") hole and allow the bulb and wiring to fit while maintaining the OEM waterproof cap.

  5. So ya, Cura opens fine with no internet connection. It just takes a bit longer than I expected (or waited apparently).
  6. Is there a way to message a user from their profile view? I only found "New Message" in my Messages panel, which has no autocompletion while entering a username into the "To" field. This isn't a deal breaker but would certainly be helpful. Does the forum software have the ability to perform autocomplete during username entry? Or did I miss a link somewhere?
  7. I turned off "Automatic Timezone" and it works now. Changing the timezone manually appeared to work until the page was refreshed.
  8. Would it be a simple change to show local time for forum posts vs. server time?

  11. I was also unable to load Cura (15.02.1 or 15.01) on OS X 10.9.4 while the server was down. I mistakenly closed it to verify the OP's issue and was unable to reopen.

  15. Slide the model out of the printable region so it turns grey. After making changes you can return it to the desired location.
  16. I believe the "Accel" parameter is the rate of acceleration used for X, Y, Z and E steppers when performing a move while printing. While "Amax n" limits the acceleration per stepper when performing a non-printing move.
  17. Bed leveling is a mechanical process. Firmware and software changes don't effect it. Running through the wizard won't change anything.

All ratings are in mA and are based on the Fluke meter's 10 samples/second average calculation.   19. I have had my printer do the same as yours several times over the last few months. It happened again yesterday. The printer will just "freeze" in the middle of a print. I have also seen the LCD display fill with random characters while printing but it continues printing. If I depress the controller knob to enter the menu, the display returns to normal. My printer is attached to a UPS. I am printing via USB. I did have a heat sink fall off one of the stepper driver chips that I haven't glued back on, but that has been off since I got the printer one year ago. The printer is currently in a 24 C room. I will hook a multimeter to my UMO sometime today and post results on current consumption.
  20. The Print Speed setting in the Basic tab is used for any of the four speed values in the Advanced tab when they are set to zero. If a non-zero value is entered in the Advanced tab for Infill, Top/Bottom, Outer Shell or Inner Shell, it takes precedence over the Basic Print Speed. Try hovering your cursor over one of the values.
  21. Exactly why I removed mine. I didn't want to prematurely stretch them and on rare occasion one tensioner would collide with a slide block due to proximity. The printer would also try to slide around the desk when I moved the print head while tensioners were mounted. Now it is perfectly smooth as long as I keep the rods clean.
  22. When I first got my printer, I printed and used belt tensioners (on my long belts) before I realized I didn't actually need them. Your short belts should be adjustable per the instructions (2 mm deflection IIRC) using the four stepper motor mounting screws. If not, perhaps the holes could be slightly elongated to allow for the necessary adjustment. I printed http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:34785 for a more controlled way of adjusting the X/Y short belt tension.

  24. I haven't had the need for SD yet. I use USB. I just used Printrun to send: G28 X0 Y0 M0 G28 Z0 It does what is expected, however I cannot change any settings in the menu since the print continues as soon as the knob is pressed. [Edit: Settings CAN be changed, just not before it resumes] The code above DOES NOT work in Cura 14.12.1. It ignores the M0 and zeroes all three axes without a pause. (Twice if you count the first zeroing from startcode) I just did another test using a simple model and "Pause at Height". Using Cura, when M0 is encountered the head moves away then the print just stops. The LCD still shows "Printing...". If I save the gcode in Cura and load it into Printrun, the M0 works as expected (minus the ability to change settings prior to resuming).
