    The original dodecahedral kinetic sculpture by Stijn van der Linden a.k.a. Virtox. Made of five nested dodecahedra, each one is limited to rotate around its own axis. It was printed with dual extrusion on an Ultimaker 3 with water-soluble PVA support material.

    This dual color electric drill prototype was designed to show the capabilities and accuracy of dual extrusion on the Ultimaker 3. This model was printed in dual color PLA. It can also be printed with ABS or one of our other industrial-grade materials for different characteristics.

    At the recent 3dexpo event the judges chose the infamous Make: rook as the model for their Clash of the 3D Printers competition. All competitors printed this model, normally used as a torture test for SLA resin printers, at 50mm height without supports. The Ultimaker 2 Go and Ultimaker 2+ won first and second prize in the competition, proving that they're up to printing complex models originally designed for SLA printers.
