All, We have downloaded the Marlin Aruino sketch and have been using the Arduino IDE for making minor changes to the Configuration.h file. We would like to experiment more with modifynig the firmware directly and wanted to see what software enviroment and debugging tools the Marlin developers are using. It seems the Arduino enviroment is extremely limited on debugging capabilities. For example, with Atmel Studio 6 it should be possible to use our AVRisp mkII debugger, programming the chip and do realtime debugging. Examine memory, set break points and so on.
