Hi guys,
Anyone of you can help me?
These are pictures of the print

I'm going crazy! I tried them all but I can not avoid this.
To make this print I followed the advice in this post:
http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/4210-getting-started-settings-tips-to-nice-prints/
the settings I used are:
Material: Colorfabb pla/pha standard white.
Combing off
Retraction minimun travel 5.5
Minimal extrusion before retracting: 0
Travel speed 250
Head temp: 210
Print speed: 30 mm/s
Layer height: 0.1
Fill density 20
Shell 0.8
After I tried to print only the surface without filling, with the same parameters but with a layer height of 0.06 and the result was also terrible:

Tips?
Hi!
I'm a new UM2 user, and I'm trying to understand what are the limits of print quality.
Cause I would like to use the printer to obtain good prototypes, I'm trying to figure out what are the best settings in this case to obtain small texts.
This text it's very small
and this is the first print whit cura high quality default settings
This one with layer height of 0.06
and the last it's 0.04 and i've increased the temp. to 230°
these are the last settings:
anyone of you with a lot of patience can help me to get best quality print settings?
Thanks to your support, we found the problem.
It's the y stepper, there seems to be something broken inside.
Now I will talk with the customer support, do you think it is better to send me a new motor or send him back all to have a better check.
seems that the x motor stepper don't move. It's not the belt,
I've also checked the cables from the motor to the motherboard and they looks fine.
Is there anything else I can do?
:(
It's a solvable problem?
Alternatively I am forced to return the printer, it's still under warranty.
(I really hope not to have to do this, I do not know how quickly they can solve the problem and shipments seem to me a lottery of fortune)
I slid the head to the bottom and to the left, I clearly heard two clicks.
This happens when i start from the center
And this happens when i start from the bottom/right and push the print button
'm really frustrated
Hi there,
I've a big trouble with my new UM2 arrived today.
it's really sad that it has not even been able to print my first robot
I follow the manual but from the "first time startup" the head seems to go in the wrong way, probably don't recognize the home position.
I tried to reset all and reinstall the firmware but the problem occurs again.
I also checked the switches and seems to click well
See the video to understand better.
Any suggestion?
