The reason the heat shrink is there is to protect the heater cable for Print Core 2 so the metal tab doesn't damage it when the print core is moving up and down. It's not needed on the other side because that Print Core is static and doesn't move up and down. Is your Print Core heater cable damaged by any chance? Have you tried swapping the Print Cores from your other machine in?

There is high voltage on the underside of the printer, so I recommend reaching out to Support for safety information before opening the underside if your S5 has the safety tape and torx bits.

The lan port does plug into the main board as a separate piece, so it could have come loose in shipping, though it's uncommon.

Hi Michael, 1252 is the right part number and I do agree it sounds like your screen. Your reseller can order it in for you--I'm not sure where you're located. But if you're in the US I have it here and it can ship Monday.

Definitely always good to have spare parts on hand. In particular, make sure to check out the front fan when your new-used machine arrives. A lot of people miss cleaning the fan as part of their maintenance, so you'll want to inspect that just in case it needs it before you get started.

I offer non-warranty repairs at our facility if that's something you need; you can check us out at fbrc8.com. There is no maintenance kit for the S5, but if I was putting one together, here's what I would include: * Nozzle seals * Bowden tubes * Collets and Clips * Sliding Block Set * Short Belts * Front Fan The parts are all available and that list should pretty much cover wear and tear items, though if you've only run through five rolls of filament I wouldn't expect most of those to need replacing yet. What sort of issues are you seeing?

Your reseller should be able to order the part in for you. It's a T-shaped threaded piece--the T/flanged part sits against the panel while the threaded part mates with the screw to hold your feeder on.

That menu does not control the front fan. That menu controls the side fans. The front fan is controlled by the firmware and will automatically run when the nozzle is at 50 C.

Ultimaker Cura stopped being supported with Windows 32bit a while ago. You can find previous versions at this link. I want to say I think the last one that supported 32bit windows was in the 2.x series so you'll have to scroll back a ways. I'm not using Windows and am not 100% sure of which version was the final 32bit Cura. Cura 4.8 won't run on 32bit.

The wide part goes around your print head cable. The two narrow parts come together at your bowden tube. Only put the clips over the printhead cable and one bowden tube (so you're not straining the other tube). I've attached a picture.

Kimya does a PLA-R with recycled PLA that prints really nicely that's good for prototyping.

I do not recommend removing the LED profile--it's pretty fixed in there and not intended to be removed and reinstalled. Like @IRobertI says...just slide the rod out after you unscrew the pulley set screws.

Alternately if you do have this rubbing issue with the table cover so you can reach it, you can unseat the table cover and use a scalpel to trim away a little of the plastic. Considerably less disassembly effort.

@Jls667 I have the fan available here. It's in stock and available to ship today. In regards to how the fan relates to the active leveling...the active leveling works on a capacitive sensor. If your fan cable is pinched or damaged, it can create electromagnetic interference while the fan is running, and that interference can disrupt your active leveling readings and cause active leveling to fail. Thanks! It's been a bit of a gray fall so far down here. I think I printed about 40 flowers over the 5 different colors. For the bowl/vase I scaled that up slightly so I could fit more flowers in it--and sunk it into the bed to give it a flat bottom.
