1. "filled Infill Top"is checked... and this problem was also on winter... so, whats can be happening?
2. PTFE is new, ALL IS NEW, I ordered new Noozles, new Bowden, New Heat Cartridge, New Temp Sensor, New PTFE, NEW spring, (the complete hot end is new) in other words, all you can change has been ordered (not the belts because they're in good condition), all is oiled... and I'm still having problems.. ill post a foot soon, i've been working on this model for weeks and i cannot get it as i want
3. Hello Forum, can someone Help me? I'm having problems with the top layers of my prints, they seems not completely close... in Some areas its closed, other not completely... its a kind of WEIRD RANDOM behaviour, sometimes.. I'm using enough infill (26) and printing at 0.1mm, and I'm using 10 layers (1.0 mm) top layer thickness i have readed, it can be under extrusion, but i've not new nozzles, new bowden, new feeder, my Pulleys are ok, and the belts are thight, and the whole system is oiled.... i also readed it has to be with the steps in E ( don't know what that is)... so if anybody has an Idea, how to solve this, ill be really happy... because this is keeping my mind occupied since 4 months or so.... thanks...
4. its great to have the backup from ultimaker with this issues... there giving their best to solve kill the bugs! with the current version (15.06.01) i can't do anything... it just crashes... do i need to keep trying, or theres will be a new Version in the near future? i downgraded to 15.04
5. Hello Forum!, i've been printing for a while with an Olsson Block, and i want to update the information and share my experience with this upgrade ( I TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT) after getting the Olson Block, i experimented a temp error because in this block, the nozzles is more influenced by the side fans, plus the weakness of my Heater Cartridge, it other words, it was unable to deliver the amount of energy required (above 230 C), usually wen having the fan at 100 %. Following the advice of many people in here, i got convinced to change the heat cartridge to a more powerful one (35 W) i was kind of sceptic, because I'm very careful with electronics ( one error and that'S it). so far everything is working just fine, theres a few remarks: A) theres some little fluctuations in the temperature.. (-+ 1 C), thats not so dramatic... B) if you're printing lets say at 215C, and you want to go to 210 C, the temperature will go for a few seconds below 210 C (say 204) but it will recover quickly and stabilises at 210 C, and stays so.... the other way around, i haven't seen any strange behaviour. C) i just got Once the Temp error, i was testing the configuration and i turned the temp to 260 C and fans 100 % Suddenly (usually i don't print anything above 235). so thats also NOT a big deal... I'm really happy now, ill keep you informed about my experiences...
6. Could you send me the log? What OS are you on? What basicly happens is that Cura tries to establish if connected USB devices are actually printers. We've had other reports that this doesn't work correctly on mac for some users. Right away....! just let me install it again... I Zapped it...
7. Do you get the same error? Because the error Ulti-Arjen posted doesnt seem to have anything to do with the firmware (but with the scene not properly being locked during the push free operation) if I have my printer running and i try to open Cura... Curt Crashes... If i open Cura, and THEN turn on the Printer.. the printer makes a weird sound (like the loud "CLACK" when it goes in stand by to upload the firmware)... and then it starts... and if i try to update the firmware, nothing happens... and somehow Cura is really slow...
8. Mine too and hangs forever trying to install the Firmware... (at the end nothing happens) :(
9. Those are Awesome new Swordriff! is the U2 Motherboard designed for that amount of watts?
10. Yes, that would be good to do if you move the nozzle over. But those numbers are only used if you are printing multiple objects in "one at a time" mode. That makes sure the head doesn't hit the previously printed object while printing the next object. GR5: Sadly, the model is not placed on the middle of the printing area...
11. using a bigger wattage Heater: does it really works? or is just hypothetical? the change to an stronger heater, what kind of consequences does it carry? temp fluctuations for example?
12. I can insert a 1.1 mm Gauge between the Shroud and the Heather Block... is not hat enough?
13. yes i've noticed it too, its not symmetrical the left side protrudes more to the left than to the right, so thats why (i think) it affects the temp readings, it is too close to the shroud to the left side... sorry Ultiarjan, i don't get what youre saying about the distances... the i have to measure the space respect to what? bless
14. i think the problem is that the olsson block is a little bit Wider than the original one, so it is touching the fan shroud on the left side (looking the U2 from the front). What happen if i change the nozzle to the right side? i think it will love the problem... but what kind of issues will appear? it is possible? do i ned to configure the 0,0,0 point of the machine? thanks...
15. Hello Forum: got the Olsson Blovk today.. work perfect its a really joke feeling to be able to change nozzles... Issue : beyond 230 degrees, temp error.... the block is far away from the shroud. is there solution for this issue? i've seen many shards i can print, BUT, are they long lasting? thanks in advance for the advices...
16. Hey ! i got a Coupler a few months ago! come on, who will be buy a car that you Need to Change the tires each 400 km? is there a way to buy a bag of em? to be sincere, i never managed to print smth that you can Show the Clients above 35 mm/s... i think the ultimaker has to be quicker.... is there a way to get nice surface result with out so much human influence?
17. thanks for the file, im going to print it tonight and see what Comes out
