Ponal Weißleim ist ein guter Tipp. Das könnte ich mal probieren. Den sollte es ja auch in jedem Baumarkt geben. Bei Haarspray bin ich etwas skeptisch. Ich hätte Angst, das sich das beim aufsprühen überall verteilt und auch zumindest teilweise auf Dinge im Drucker kommt, auf die es eigentlich nicht gehört.

Hallo, ich benutze bei ABS immer einen Klebestift um die Haftung auf der Glasplatte meines UM2 zu verbessern. Bisher habe ich immer den von Staples benutzt, da so einer mitgeliefert wurde und bei mir imer gut funktioniert hat. Da es bei mir in der weiteren Umgebung aber keinen Staples Shop gibt und ich die Teile nicht immer extra bestellen möchte, würde ich gerne auf eine andere Marke umsteigen, die ich im örtlichen Schreibwarenladen bekommen kann. Gibt es da zwischen den Marken unterschiede, was die Eignung zum 3D Druck angeht? Welche Erfahrungen habt Ihr mit den Klebestiften von UHU und TESA? Gruß, Reiner

I tried now with an older 17.03 DEV version that I still had laying here, but that one shows the same behavior. It heads up, but does not start printing. When I go back to the stock Ultimaker 2 Firmware that shipped with Cura 15.04, the prints start fine.

The second hotend is not turned on. It is only getting some higher readings due to sitting on the same structure. It was the same with my previous firmware, so I think that shouldn't prevent the print from starting.

I upgraded my UM2 with Dual Extruders today from 16.09 to 17.10.1 using the Tinker-MarlinUltimaker2-dual-17.10.1.hex file. Now I have the strange behavior that when I start a print, the printer heats up the buildplate and nozzle and then just sits there at "Heating up... 100%" and doesn't start the print: Did I do something wrong?

I would rather see these files as a good addition to the UM2 git repository. Maybe somebody with commit rights can add them to https://github.com/Ultimaker/Ultimaker2/tree/master/1546 ultimainboard V2.1.4

Damit hab ich bisher noch keine Öl-Unfälle gehabt :-)

In the beginning, Ultimaker even sold a flex PLA. I tried a number of Flex PLAs over time with more or less success. The more flexible the PLA is, the worst the results. NinjaFlex and similar do not work at all, but the less flexible ones can be used. You have to tune the parameters though. I use extremely slow print speeds - 10mm/s usually - and no retractions if possible. It also helped me to lubricate the bowden tube with a little dash of WD-40.

I have compiled a version now with 100mm^3 and all other values standard.

I would rather compile my own version of Tinkergnomes firmware... do you have any recommendations on which settings for purge and retraction after would make sense as a start?

Does that mean that there might be a fix in an upcoming new firmware version?

I hope so too! Everybody who bought an UM2 in the last 2 or 3 months has an Olsson block already and many others have upgraded also. The block is one of the most popular upgrades for the UM2.

I changed my email back to the one that uses greylisting. I got the "activate your changed email" message, so that is already working. Let's see if I get any notifications from now on. I will keep you updated

No, no changes there. I do not regularly clean cookies on browser exit or such. After logging in - which should set the cookie if it did not exist - and then just wait a day, I am logged out and have to re-login. The same for Youmagine by the way! Thingiverse remembers me correct though Update: On Youmagine I have noticed that behavior for much longer than on the forum. Sometimes it does only take a few hours until I have to re-authenticate on the forum. Is the cookie somehow bound to my IP maybe? I travel a lot and mainly use 3G connections, so I assume the IP changes quite frequently compared to a regular PC.

Since roughly two weeks I have the problem again that I have to log in to the forum again each time I access it - it doesn't even remember the email address in the login field. That error was there in the beginning but worked in after a while for some releases.

You guys are really good at ignoring the opinion of the people here. :-( After seeing that "massive" improvement with the button, I have now permanently removed it locally. If anybody is interested in the uBlock Origin filter rule, let me now via private message.

@foehnsturm is the motor that you use the Sanyo Denki SS2421-5041? If so, do you know how the wire colors of it map to the colors/pin out of the UM2 default feeder motors?

Sorry to dig out this older thread, but have you found a source for the feeder entry grommet?
