  1. I'm having some issues with my Ultimaker Original recently. The last thing was that I've broken the nozzle throat (Hot end isolator tube). After that I disassembly the entire hot end, took the screw that was stuck on the peek and put a new one. Changed that nozzle, the heat block and also the teflon isolator (hot end isolator coupler), it was with an oval shape already. The replacement for the hot end isolator coupler had an OD smaller than the original, so it didn't fit tight in the peek. Hot end assembled and to my surprise the filament was getting clogged every time, so I took the time to check the temperature and found that the temperature on the heat block was displaying the right temp (~220C) but on the nozzle was way lower (like 50C). Have anyone had this kind of issue? Is this the reason my nozzle get clogged and stops printing?
  2. I was having under extrusion problems with my Ultimaker Original last weak, which I believe was a pressure problem in my extruder, grasping to hard on the filament leading to irregular diameter and eventually clogs on the nozzle. I had the brilliant ideia to disassemble the print head, took off the nozzle just fine and saw that was still clogged. When I was trying to put the nozzle back in the heater block, with Ultimaker turned off, and I manage to broke the nozzle, leaving the screw part stuck inside the heater block. Now I have the heater block with a clogged screw in it. What is the best way to remove the broken nozzle from the heater block? Is it better to turn on the Ultimaker and heat it up? Or leave the clogged filament as a leverage so I can get it out with a screw extractor?
