Hi Bagel, Aha. Hm - are you one of the developpers and feel personal offended? This forum is for free and everybody is free to help or not. I'm just a hobbyist and I want to be productive. It's not my hobby to analyse why a new version doesn't work. I'm glad that there are people with the hobby of improving opensource-software. I took a DAE-file that worked in 14.09 and loaded it into 15.02.1 and it did not work. So Version 15.02.1 has a change that makes it no longer work for me. Whatever it is. Cura is developed and maintained by Ultimaker. To me Ultimaker seems to be a professional company. And from a professional company I expect that they do intensive testing before releasing a new version. Maybe I should have made clear in the titel that my posting is meant as an honest feedback about what I experienced using the new version. If the developpers add a feature that can zip and mail logfiles (beginning at the installation-process) I could provide informations at a low effort. I read what's new in Version 15.02.1. In my personal opinion the difference is small. So I'm happy to stay with version 14.09 until a new version is available and then testing the new version. best regards Stefan

Hallo, das ist ja ein richtig toll verschlimmbessertes upate Cura 14.09 deinstalliert. Cura 15.02.1 installiert. DAE-Datei geladen slicer Fortschrittsbalken nicht vorhanden Druckdauer 0 Minuten in der Layervorschau wird nichts angezeigt. 15.02.1 wieder deinstalliert und zurück auf Version 14.09. Kann mal jemand den Softwarewentwicklung bescheid sagen sie sollen in der Version 15.02.2 ein Feature einbauen. "Mache erst auf neue Version aufmerksam wenn sie von mindestens 10.000 Usern erfolgreich eingesetzt wurde!! ?? verärgerte Grüße Stefan

donwloaded Cura 15.02.1 deinstalled Curu 14.09. then installed Cura 15.02.1 loaded *.DAE-file object is shown in normal view but Cura says printing time 0 and in the slice-view there is nothing. Very good "imrpoved" version of Cura. Just rolled back to 14.09 Can you add a feature to version 15.02.2 that it will only popup a message new version available if 10.000 users have given feedback "new version works successfully with no bugs" ? I hate this make it betterworse worsebetter versions. Stefan

@Ultimaker-Team: you should NOT use the forum as a manual replace for things like that! You should describe this limitation that the filename has to be conform with the rule no special characters at a prominent place in the manual. Is Cura Ultimaker a software expecially for ultimaker? If so cura should not allow special characters in the filename. best regards Stefan

Hallo, habe plötzlich folgendes Problem. Ich starte Cura dann wird die hellblaue Splash-Screen angezeigt und bleibt so lange auf dem Bildschirm stehen bis man darauf klickt. Dann verschwindet der SplashScreen und ansonsten passiert - - - NICHTS! Neuinstallation als Administrator und starten als Administrator ausschalten des Virenschutzes nichts hat bisher geholfen. Wer hat das Phänomen auch? Könnten da andere installierte Programme querschießen? Wenn ja welche? viele Grüße Stefan

Hi, With quickprint I get good printing results in all 3 modes high quality, normal quality and fast low quality. Now I want to start to experiment with the parameters like filldensity layerthickness etc. I have changed some of the parameters of the expertmode and got bad results. So I conclude I traveled away too far from the quickprint-settings. Where can I find all the parameters the quickprintmodes are using? Especcially I want to print quick like in fast-mode with a high layerthickness but with 100% density. best regards Stefan

Hi designed an adapter for a flexible tube with google sketchup 2014. (I use a vacuum-cleaner as extraction-system for a wood-mill. it's a small tube 30mm high slightly conic. At the base is a flange with 4 woles for small screws. These holes have a conic form for conic screwheads. In the normal preview the conic holes are there. But CURA does not create GCode for them. Also in the Layers preview the conic holes in the flange are just not there. What do I have to change to make cura accept these conic holes? Hallo, also der Druck von Objekten die auf dem Plate richtig aufstehen funktionierte auf Anhieb. WIe aber erzeugt man mit CURA Unterstützungsstrukturen wenn die Teile der zu druckenden Objekte "in der Luft" hängen?? Bin Dankbar für Hinweise. Stefan
