AAMOI discovered that the moving rods are not the cause of my bad print. Cura is slicing my model wrong. If I go to the layer view it shows a block of layers that shouldn't be there.

Thanks, I'll do that. The one next to it (on the back of the printer) is now moving slightly in and out too. Although, I can't see the same procedure having any effect on it.

I've just noticed that one of the rod ends on the back of the printer is moving in and out about 2mm during printing. Has something come loose / needs tightening ?

Just got my Ultimaker 2 and am VERY pleased with it. Prints so much better and faster than my Replicator 2. I love it !!!!
