  1. HI guys! thanks for your help, I'm now trying to print with an Ultimaker blue filament and I still have the same problems, so there is something wrong in my settings and not with the material itself. To give you a better idea: layer height: 0.2 shell thickness: 0.8 bottom/top thickness: 1.2 density: 20 print speed: 40 initial layer thickness: 0.2 travel speed: 150 The fans are working 100% and the temperature now is 200 have a good monday!
  2. Hi guys I have a problem with my U2. I'm printing some components that need to be screw to each other. I printed fine until I changed the material. The new one is exactly the same PLA, but from another brand, the settings are exactly the same but the results no. the bigger problem are the edges, not precise at all and so impossible to be used. I tried to change settings and rebuild the plate.... I have now no clue what to do. I also tried to print with a ultimaker material with an old file (always printed with no problems in the past) and i have the same bad result. :( does anyone got the same problem? thanks!!! Jess
  3. Plus, i don't know if it is relevant but i noticed that even when the material comes out free, like in the beginning of a print session, the material always seems to be attract to the nozzle, instead of go down the filament goes up and stick to the nozzle, i always have to push it down with a pen or something before the print starts. is it normal?
  4. thanks guys, i found Illuminarti's post very usefull, i did the procedure but my filament still doesn't stick to the plate! seems to come out and stick to the nozzle only. i'm printing with a PLA material, noozle temperature 210 and plate 60
  5. Hi there, I own a Ultimaker2 for 5 months and i always have some problems... I'm trying to print the "bed level file" that the support gave me, but while printing the 1 layer in some points the filament doesn't stick to the plate. I regulated the plate several times, and cleaned the nozzle, but the filament seems to stick to the nozzle sometimes or doesn't come out at all, i thought the problem was the plate too close to the nozzle but even if i put it lower the problem is still the same. i put some glue on the plate as suggested before any suggestion? thanks
