  1. When I try to mark a "Best Answer", I get a 403 error...
  2. Thanks. Got it. Seems the bag of 16mm screws contains a lot of 14mm screws... But with the spare parts bag, I think I will make it. Working on the heated bed, now. Can't find anything that looks like a strain relief clip in the kit. I wish they had better pictures.
  3. Just got my Original+ kit... I see in the instructions that each part has a number in parenthesis next to it. For example, "bolts M3 x 12mm (1203)". What is the 1203? None of the screw packs have any labels on them. Is the 12mm measurement from the top of the head of the bolt to the bottom, or is that just the threaded part? Perhaps this is a silly question, but I don't want to get half way through and discover that I used the wrong bolt at some point. Thanks. J
  4. With the current conversion (from US Dollar), seems you could save a few hundred bucks buying from Ultimaker directly... Thanks for the thoughts, everyone. J
  5. Not sure if there is a better place to buy in the US, but I was going through the process of buying from the Ultimaker shop and noticed a few issues: There is no way to buy an Original, just an Original+. The Original+ has a price of 995 euro on the store landing page, but it's 1,195 euro when you click on it. Certainly, I'd prefer the 995 euro price. I tried to create a ticket on the support site to report this but when I try to register it continuously tells me that there is a required field left blank. I even entered a bogus order ID (despite the "optional" tag listed next to it) but that didn't help. Anyone else seeing these issues? Thanks. J
  6. How durable is the PLA material? I see some places that advertise it as "biodegradable". Will it start to deteriorate in my lifetime? I want to print some stuff that I will use for installing some LED lighting. It would be a bad thing if it started to degrade in a couple of years. Or should I print with a different type of material? Thanks. J
