  1. Motors moving? Motors can move but if your printer has loose set screws on timing pulleys the print head can't move. Do you see when you look at short belts any reactions. Because short bells moves next to motors. Z-axis moves without any belt because of threaded rod. Can you make any video? good luck
  2. I use 0.2 initial layer height. 220 degree nozzle temperature and 70 degree heated bed temperatur for Innofil PLA. For like this objects with sharp corner prefer also UHU-glue stick. good luck
  3. did you also tried 220 degree for PLA. But I can see on your photos nozzle is too far from print bed. good luck
  4. Hallo @chiplab, habt Ihr Lösung gefunden? Musste man beim Repetier-Host was umstellen oder ginge es ohne irgendeine Änderung. Gruss
  5. My reasons why I bought 3d Printer is: I'm coming from model making hobby. I studied micro electronics. There we produced cases or boxes for our developments. We used wood, metal sheets and plexiglas. Course to learn casing was really interesting it started with key designing, yes a key what should open a real lock. We got only caliper and file and drill machine and drawing sheet with piece of metal. We all (36 Students) finished our keys in two weeks (at the beginning we all tought it would end in disaster) with our team work. Yes now I can use my 3d Printer to print one gear for clock mechanic in 4 hours. Before I needed some days for each wooden gear. A pendulum clock Needs 11-17 gears then creating a Frame takes two three days. You can calculate yourself how many days it would take. And working with wood has been never easy like printing in 3d.
  7. @neotko, is there any Dual Extrusion solution for Objects with more than 2 pieces. For example: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:257911 when I split this LFS_Elephant.stl Object I get four parts (head, body, front foots and the rear foots). Then I highlight the head (yellow) then right mouse click dual extrusion merge body (gets red) and placed together with head, then left mouse click on this object then right mouse click on front foots (gets light yellow) also placed together , again left click on this object then right mouse click on rear foots (gets blue),Only four different colours? Yes I know Little long story.
Danke
  9. @neotko, before UMO+ I owned VERTEX3d Printer from Velleman. Vertex3d printed in Dual Color very nice. They worked with REPETIERHOST what uses also Cura Slicer. It was really easy to understand. Repetier works Little different; First you splitt objekt then create groups then you can assign one extruder to group1 one extruder to group2.Later all object pieces moves to their proper position. Then activate ooze shield and wipe tower function (like this I printed objects with more then 30 pieces). Hier I found one Topic https://ultimaker.com/en/community/1794-repetier-host
  10. Hello @neotko, did you print this in PLA or ABS. And now your Printer is working better than Wood sliding blocks. Also GT2Timing Pulley and Belt Upgrade is must or there not so much Change in Print Quality or something else?
  11. Thank you @neotko, this was an easy to understand guide for creating Firmware and Upload to an UMO+. Do you also have a link or PDF guide how to use Cura with Dual Extrusion. I saw somewhere first split object than Merge or something like this. Is also imported to know how to Change machine Settings for second hotend. Thank you again...
  12. I ordered the Dual Extrusion Kit for my Ultimaker Original+ (with White PCB). Because Dual Extrution Kit only for Ultimaker Original is, I also bought PT100 Temperatur sensor and same Heater Cartridge like delivered with my UMO+ (When I use Dual Extrusion I will not use at the same time Heated bed because of delivered Power Supply from UMO+ will not be enough I think) . When I assemble this Kit on my UMO+ where do I get the right Firmware and how can I install it to my UMO+? I saw somewhere a link to Build yourself Firmware for Ultimaker or something like that. If find the right Firmware how can I transfer this to my UMO+? Is there any Cura guide to how to print wirh dual extrusion?I know this all is experimental but we all like experimenting somehow.
  13. Filament size 2.85mm ? You can print Delrin Clip from https://www.youmagine.com/designs/delrin-clip-for-ultimaker-original . Take any other washer what you can buy in local stores. But 150% flow is not good can stress your Printers hotend. Check the assembly of Extruder please. good luck
Innofil PLA Silber? Gruss
  16. I do not own an Ultimaker 2. But you can load on your machine FAILSAFE setting and SAVE it. Then try to move manually on each X,Y,Z axis then AUTO HOME it. Then try recalibrate or bed leveling process. When everything works like it should search problem with your Cura Settings. good luck
Gruss
  21. I want to upgrade to dual head. I'm using Ultimaker Original+ (1 year old). Do I need something special for Dual Head Upgrade Kit (I know it is for Original only). I saw somewhere a special PT100 not included in this kit, is the heater compatible with Original+. I want use original power supply because when I print something with two colors I do not need heated bed running. Bluetape worked with my Vertex 3d printer always (Okay for the PLA prints)
  22. I give to @Titus right. Bed leveling not good enough, you see this on the side walls. But @Labern wrote also right a little higher temperature helps much.
  23. Nice prints @gr5. Is there any tutorial. Or it is something for gcode guru's?
  24. Hallo Edel hast du schon "Atomic Pull" method angewendet.
