We designed this castle playset as a modular toy that can easily be 3D-printed at home. The set contains walls, towers, houses, characters, animals, and a myriad of different props. All parts are small enough to be 3D-printed in a build volume of 140 x 140 x140 mm. The walls and towers fit together easily using a simple 3D-printable butterfly joint. You can make as many parts as you want to create your original castle layout! Note: Please let us know if you have any suggestions for new objects in this kit. We will continue to expand this collection. This project was created by Tim Wahlström in cooperation with the 3D-team at CreativeTools.se. You can read more about the project at 3DCastlePlayset.creativetools.se.

#3DBenchy is a 3D model specifically designed for testing and benchmarking 3D printers. It is a small recognizable object that you can download for free, make and share. The provided 3D files are suitable for single and multi-material 3D printing. Please visit http://3DBenchy.com for more information.
  4. Would it be possible for you to provide us the GCode for this print file? That would make it easier to analyse.
  5. Thats for sure! We will post more images soon. Regarding the stripes it is strange that this seems to be typical when #3DBenchy is printed via Cura. Hopefully the Ultimaker team will find a good solution.
  6. We gave it a try and can confirm that it is the inner infill structure affecting the outside of the hull. Please read this article for more information. The attached image in this post also illustrates our result.
  7. Thanks for posting about your issues regarding #3DBenchy and the stripes. If you mean the diagonal stripes visible on the vertical walls of the cabin, we believe that they are at result of the infill pattern "touching and bulging" on the perimeter lines. If you open the expert settings in the Cura slice engine, you will be able to see a value called "Infill overlap (%)". The default value is 15%. Try making this smaller and see if the result changes.
