Wow no answer ? Nobody ? @ultimaker ?

Hi all, I've got my UM2 for nearly 2 years now. I've changed the feeder for https://www.youmagine.com/designs/alternative-um2-feeder-version-two Wich is insanely awesome by the way... Everything was fine until 2 months ago. I started having under extrusion. A lot of it. I cleaned nozzle > nothing i changed nozzle (with teflon block) > nothing I changed feeder pressure > got worse Changed temperature / speed etc. > nothing changed i had more or less under extrusion but still had some. I used http://support.3dverkstan.se/article/23-a-visual-ultimaker-troubleshooting-guide a lot but nothing solved it. I still have my feeder motor slipping sometimes bringing under extrusion in my prints. This brings me to ask the fatal question... everything coming to an end at some point, could it be my feeder motor that is too "old" and no longuer have the force to push my filament in ? and so should i need to replace it ? Thanks for any feedback...

Hi Everyone, I get something new with Cura 15.04 that is not good... You can check this : https://www.evernote.com/l/ABjmT26fFFJNH... When slicing with cura (15.04), i used to have smooth movements of the print head while making infills, now i have these hard movements when going back and forth, making "tak" sounds. This ruins the quality of some prints making ripples on the print's surface. Where does it come from ? Slicing parameters were not changed...(or at least not that i can notice). I already tried travel movement speed, here i'm at 50mm/s like the print speed. What am i missing?

Actually you can use the cura engine to slice your model directly on your raspberry pi running octoprint. You have to set the path to the cura engine and define a config setting in octoprint's parameters. You may find this usefull too : https://github.com/foosel/OctoPrint/wiki/Cura-Integration
