  1. It can work - but that's all you can say about it. If you are serious about printing ninjaflex, you should use this mod: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder. I think it will work on the UM2+ without modification, as the hole locations in the plating of the UM2+ seems to be equal to the UM2.
  2. I did not test with Flex PLA, but on the internet I read that ninjaflex is even much more flexible and harder to print than Flex PLA. I could print Ninjaflex and Semiflex without oil using this mod: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder. Maybe it is usefull for somebody, so just this hint.
  3. Use this mod if you really want to do flexible filament. https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder To my experience, other methods do not solve the root cause of the flexible filament troubles.
  4. For printing flexible materials this mod might be helpfull: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder For using dual head configuration I have seen something with magnets on this forum, this thread might be interesting: https://ultimaker.com/en/community/10657-a-different-multi-extrusion-approach-um-tool-printhead-changer If you have an idea about extruding silicone with a syringe, please let it know, I also am interested
  5. If you still want to do flexible filament, use Robert's feeder with my mod: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder. It not only fixes the feeder/extruder issues, but also the bowden-tube problems and the orientation of the spool.
  6. Further improvement when using Ultimaker 2 with flexible filament: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder
  7. Use this mod if you want to do flexible filaments: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder
  8. Use this modification to print quick & good quality flexible filaments: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder
  9. Flexible PLA on ultimaker 2 in general is a headache. You can improve its functionality using this mod: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder. I did not test your flexible material, but ninjaflex works great (I can make layers of 0.1mm height), so I think it should work with any flexible filament.
  11. I have successfully printed several different high-flexible filaments (ninjaflex, semiflex, etc) using my Ultimaker 2. In order to improve print quality I have created a mod that highly improves the quality of the prints: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-straight-tube-flexible-filament-spool-holder
