Cura is scaling you object if it thinks it will not fit on the plate. Even if it will fit after you rotate it right. Thanks nallath for the hard work. I also noticed that the machine profile ultimaker2_extended.json is not complete yet (we own the extended). In the next release can we just take the ultimaker2.json and change "machine_height": { "default": 205 } to "machine_height": { "default": 315 } to get the extended to work? Thanks again!

Most annoying thing about cura for me! I never know if it's scaled or not and I always need the correct dimensions! At least a short message "Your object has been scaled" would help. Or an option to turn fit to build plate off. My UM2 Ext. is atm just a waste of filament, energy and time...

Schein verstopft zu sein. Wie Johannes schon sag, Rohr raus aufheizen (ich würde sogar auf 260° gehen) ein 10cm langes Stück von Hand reinschieben so weit es geht (nicht zu stark). Dann abkühlen lassen bis etwa 50° dann erst das Stück von oben wieder rausziehen. Jetzt solltest du von oben durch den Druckkopf schauen können. Alles wieder zusammenbauen das Filament 1m abschneiden und neu einsetzten. Viel Erfolg

Hi, check mal ob die x und y Führungen senkrecht zu einander stehen wenn du den Kopf per Hand in die Mitte schiebst. Drucker vorher abschalten. Ich hatte einmal einen Layershift, dann habe ich den x y Motorstrom auf 1000mA herabgesetzt. Seit dem keine Probleme mehr. Es könnte nämlich sein, das die driver ueberhitzen und nicht mehr richtig steppen. Viel Erfolg

Hi, wir haben diesen Monat auch einen Extended erworben. Die ersten PLA Drucke waren OK. Das ist unser erster 3D Drucker und wir sammeln noch Erfahrungen. Ich bin davon ausgegangen, dass der Extended nur größer ist und ansonsten identisch zum UM2. War diese Annahme falsch? Danke
