  1. Hello, first of all I just want to introduce myself. My name is Kyle and I bought the Ultimaker Original Kit last July. Once assembled it took alot of hard work to tweak and maintain. I eventually bought the heated print bed upgrade a few months after that (because blue masking taped print boards are wiggity wiggity whack). I really fell in love with with Linux back in 2011 and I have been a big believer in open source technologies. That's why I love the open nature of this product and it's software. However it's been quite the challenge to build and maintain this. This is my first time coming to the community here with a problem. I have been using the using the heated print bed upgrade just fine for the most part. I haven't used the machine in months. I booted it up the other day, and now... Every four seconds the Y axis motor and the X axis motor turn on at the same time and for about 2 seconds render the print head immovable. I've downloaded new software, old software, it's worked for a few seconds on Windows 7, and for a few seconds on Ubuntu/Debian Linux. It can never quite complete all of the 3 initial steps needed to set up the machine. I best I've gotten is maybe about 15 seconds of running the bed leveling wizard on Cura 15.04 (Ubuntu), and Cura 15.04 Windows 7. Then after that brief moment it loses the connection. The latest versions (for example 15.06.03) of Cura won't even load on Windows 7, and Ubuntu tells me that "dependency is not satisfiable: python3-pyqt5 (>=5.4.0) " I don't know if this Arduino board is bad or what. The board is Version 1.5.7. I know that the USB drivers are working...lsusb on the terminal shows "Arduino SA Mega 2560 R3 (CDC ACM)". I am currently in the process of disconnecting wires and reconnecting all these wires. I'm trying to figure out how something can go bad overnight. This perplexes me. Help me?
