Hi,

I've been using my ultiimaker 2 for about 9 months.

I've noticed the functionalnozzle temperature for PLA has been increasing in the last 2-3 months. While I used 210 F initially, I've been forced to increase the nozzle temp to up to 240 F with the same spool to make it work. If I don't increase the nozzle temp, the material won't flow.

Anyone knows why is this happening?

Make sure there is a gap of about 1mm between the white PTFE coupler and the metal insulator. as shown here

 

If there's more than 1 mm... Can I just push the white part down?

Hi,

Everytime I change material there's a deformation at the tip of the filament. This is not letting the material to flow and thus, is not printing.

I have to remove the tube at the hot end, move the filament and cut the deformed portion.

Sometimes the deformed tip is inside the tube, some others is outside.

Anyone know why is this happening?
