  1. These are little rings with a height of 5 mm and a diameter of 20 mm. Distance from my nozzle tip to the base is about 7.5 mm so it is not possible to hit the printed parts with printhead unless the nozzle moves over already printed objects. I set the gantry height to 99999 but it didn't change anything. I think I should be able to make lots of these rings with a suitable print order simultaneously. Can anybody help me about this? Thanks in advance!
  2. I want to print one at a time while using both extruders, but the option is disabled when I choose 2 as the number of extruders. What can I do?
  3. Did you find any solution? I am having exactly the same thing with UM2
  4. Attached a view in cura It is an UM2 with a 0.15 mm nozzle Yes it is a cube and I use infill patterns. Line width is 0.15 mm. Speed is 45mm/s What I want is squares with equal height and connected walls. Thanks!
  5. I am printing something with little squares. But the problem is Ultimaker2 is not combining the vertical and horizontal lines. Using Cura 4.0.0 I guess that it is trying to prevent printing over an already printed area but how can I fix that? Thanks in advance! 🙂
  6. Well I am printing two different objects and I need two different layer heights...
  7. Hi There I was able to choose different layer heights for extruder 1 and 2... I just updated to 3.3.1 and now I cannot set different layer heights for each of them. Any ideas? Should I downgrade?
  8. As you can see in the image, the printer prints the first line of BRIM with second extruder. I want it to be printed with only the first nozzle (yellow one) Help!?
  9. Yeah but I am using 2 different extruders and scanning objects. It is a bit complicated. I need thicker brim layers.
  10. Can I increase thickness of Brim layers? Lets say I want 3 layers (01. x 3 = 0.3 mm) of Brim around my object. How can I do that?
  11. That worked! I wish there was a setting to print in the air but I can use for now... THANKS!
  12. Here I attached an image. In solid view it is in the air but when it is time to print, it ignores the Z offset and prints on the bed.
  13. Nope. I want to extrude the same amount.
  14. It extruded very high amount of filament since the volume get bigger
  15. Tried that and it extruded absurdly high
  16. I did that and it didn't work. It needs a support otherwise it doesn't print.
  17. I was thinking about the second option but it would be great to print without adding extra stuff. I tried changing gantry height but didn't work. For the purpose... Let's say I am trying to make PLA drops.
  18. I want to print in the air without calibrating. Kind of a Z offset is needed. I tried changing the height of the object (unmarked the auto drop option) but it prints on the surface or it needs support.
  19. I used a firmware for 2 extruders and also connected a temp sensor. I had one stuck with the original nozzle and I used it.
  20. You only talked about Cura so far, so first things first: you need to install a firmware for 2 extruders... In case of Marlin this also needs (at least) a second temperature sensor. I've not tried it, but the temp sensor can perhaps be "faked" by using a resistor instead (would be cheaper... and is probably safe as long you don't install the second heater). In short - a bit more tinkering is necessary to get it to work. Solved with a similar way. Thanks. Case closed
  21. I added M302 as a start code to the extruder 2... But didn't work...
  22. That should be M302... I will try Update: Tried and it started printing without heating nozzle and tried to extrude the filament with first extruder. 2nd one didn't work...
  23. I have bought an stepper motor and connected to E2 port of the board. I am using cura with the latest version and added 2nd extruder to a "customized printer" which is UM2. But 2nd motor didn't work even I choose the 2nd extruder for the part? I wont connect a nozzle, I want only the motor work. What can I do?
  24. Actually, it is fixed with the latest beta (15.09.90). I changed nozzle size to 1mm and also shell thickness to 1 mm and it prints without gaps.
