Isn't there a way to make a heated bed with a completly separate powersource and display witch doesn't interact with the printer? I already have a raspberry and tiny led display so i can see the temperature and then when it is the correct temperature turn on the print.

i bought a heated bed kit from amazon http://www.amazon.com/Evervictory-Aluminium-Temperature-Ultimaker-Printers/dp/B00U8AI9NW but there isn't a good tutorial on how to set this up or what relay i need to buy. so does anyone know how to install a heated bed?

I am looking for a heated bed for my ultimaker original. but i think that the one that is being sold at the ultimaker store is to expensive. There are a lot of possibilities on the internet but what is the best one?

1. Check if the exruder is extruding properly (maybe the screw on the thing that grips the filament is a bit loos) 2. Check the temperature with a thermometer during the print multiple times. and that is all i can think abouth witch coult be wrong. Hope you find the problem.
